Age doesn’t matter if you’re good enough. Ja Morant is only 22 or 23 he starts on a contending team. Luka is only 23 he starts on a contender too. Along with other players too that isn’t coming to my mind rn.
If Bazley shows he’s better than Craig in practice, he should absolutely start then regardless of his age.
This - if he's better he starts. Otherwise you end up doing stupid stuff like Silas does where he took half a season to start the best player on the Rockets (Sengun), or Tom Thibadaeu with...countless players. Time and time again bad NBA coaches have cost players entire seasons worth of development due to picking favorites.
That being said I doubt Bazley is better than Craig. Would like to see him get some minutes but we're not exactly in a position with a lot of breathing room in the west, so he'll have to earn it in practice I guess.
