i think i'd wanna note the lineup btw

a short stint with powell/gordon in the backcourt. no bones or mann, meaning they clearly trust at least a couple of those guys to take care of the ball.

I understand what Lue’s trying to do. Get guys integrated, let everyone eat, limit minutes for others, but it might be a recipe for a loss. One we can’t afford.

it's a little splotchy with guys trying to figure out where they're supposed to be on defense. a lot of missed rotations and all that. doesn't look like kawhi's totally dialed in either on defense, just yet.

makes you wonder if we we had anyone we could play that could give us some extra defense and rebounding...

for all the talk about how tough morris is i fail to understand why he's such a garbage rebounder.

it's not all on him, though. kawhi needs to be better on his end, too. or, you know, just put covington in and let him actually do the dirty work that most nobody else wants to do.

There's no fixing this team. Minor tweaks around the margins at the trade deadline sure didn't do it. They still look like they'd rather be doing anything else in the world than play basketball together, and they're still boring and frustrating to watch.

Marcus Morris is Ty's new Reggie. I'm so sick of having terrible coaches, it's not even funny.

Man, Jakob Poeltl is tearing it up for the Raptors. I wonder if the Clippers had a chance at getting him.

Anyways, disappointing first half by the Clippers. Really hoping we don't see three losses in a row here.

Need to have better defense. I know Warriors have a killer offense, but so many looked lost. Morris continues to be garbage at rebounding. First unit could learn a thing or two from the second units energy. Luckily one more half.

Our vets looking slow and washed. What happened to Zu? Morris needs DNP's badly. Might have to start the Boston & Bones Era up earlier than expected.

bones was exciting, so i think the hope is he'll continue to breathe some life back into the team.

the players being allergic to defense and rebounding is a shame but if you don't make moves to fix it then it's coming from the top, too. i'm kinda over giving the FO a free pass because they're the ones who decided to trade for morris in the first place, in addition to giving him the contract, in addition to keeping him on. lue i obviously have no shortage of words for.

He doesn't box out. Literally just looking up at the rim. I honestly am over him. With our new guys we don't need him anymore. It starts with Kawhi and PG but benching Morris would go a long way imo

Seriously. What happened? I don’t need hooting and hollering and chest thumping but this team acts like they’re at a funeral instead of playing a game they love.

We can afford it. And we have no choice anyway. KL and PG on minutes restrictions and starting over yet again.

Pretty good half for a pickup team.

That said, I think we're dead. You just saw our playoff rotation. I like Norman but although he has 11 points he's minus-10. Bones is more Mann than Mann but so what. EJ is washed. Marcus continues to be substandard. Zu and Plumlee are adequate, and they are the best position we're putting out there.

Kawhi and PG have no mojo. That's the fact. Giannis went 36-13-9 tonight vs. the Celts and Jrue went for 40. They play for pride and they play with fun and love of the game. In the regular season.

Ballmer chose poorly.
