Now we need the Pacers to beat the Bulls tomorrow and then the Bulls to lose to the Bucks on Thursday.

Jakob dropping 30 on us didn’t help. Good to see Suggs have himself a game though.

And Lakers and Magic win again and Bulls stand on near 50% chance at keeping pick. Wooho.

You really DON'T want Bulls to be surpassed by all those teams.

Jalen Suggs is 8 of 18 (44%) on corner 3's.

Kid works hard... it's paying off.

When two of your starters who stand at 6'10 each, grab total of 1 rebound and they don't even bother boxing out...well...yea... You probably won't win that game.

Poeltl & Boucher shot 21-25 FG. Boucher would have 0 misses if he didn't took 2 threes.

Wow, Paolo and Franz 1 rebound combined. And WCJ only 6. Just wow.

Brutal game. Very brutal game. Everyone needs to take a Benadryl the night of the back to back to ensure they get sleep. Maybe even two. Then instead of practice everyone goes to starbucks, followed by halftime dunkin donuts and you guessed it more coffee.

Anyone else feel like Suggs + Fultz + FVV were interviewing for a PG position next year from last nights game?

Just atrocious D all night, I know players are exhausted at this point, especially Franz and Paolo, who have played the most minutes and carried the biggest burden, and it was a second night of a back to back, but we let Toronto get everything they wanted on offense and on the rare occassions they missed our frontline just let them take the boards with barely any resistance. And we kept trying to trap FVV even though it was clearly not working. And having Harris guards Siakam, who is 5 inches taller and could just shoot over him no matter how good D Harris played, was also baffling decision.

It's going to be fascinating to see how things play out this summer for the Magic.

The Magic have a lot of money to spend. One of the few teams that has money. The front office has a connection to VanVleet who is an unrestricted free agent to be.

But at the same time, Fultz, Anthony and Suggs have all played well this season in their own ways.

Yet all three are probably too flawed to be a full time 30-35 MPG starting point guard on a team with actual winning aspirations.

I do not know how Suggs will develop but would entertain a

F : Paolo
F : Franz
C : WCJ
SG : Suggs
PG : FVV

starting lineup next year from day one....

FVV isn't what I want for the team as of this second. But if were playing the wishing game, I want someone to pay my escrow deficit vs who starts at PG next year.

neuraldarwinism wrote:optimal season really.

my only issue, besides everything about cole anthony, is fultz.

even though he is playing about as well as he can play and i generally like him, he is dragging down franz and paolo due to his limited half court play making, decrease in our core's usage because you have to put the ball in fultz's hands, and his lack of gravity/unwillingness to put up high volume attempts from 3.

happy i stuck with suggs. start that man.
