I don't think he will. As long as he makes it a point to play with effort he will have an impact. Even with no plays needing to be run for him.

Ayton playing with two guys who average close to 6 assists per night plus another averaging almost 9 should not have a problem scoring.

Spoon-fed.

Thats all he has to do. Same with Okogie, Craig, both Lees, etc. Just keep the energy level up he'll have some 20/20 games in the playoffs. Just dive on the floor, roll hard, sell your body, compete for rebounds.

Awesome game. If they get this version of Ayton look the **** out. Booker and CP doing their thing.

Love seeing Okogie taking advantage of his chance. So much of these borderline guys making it is getting an opportunity in the right situation and seizing it.

I think raised championship expectations are a good pressure for Ayton, helps him stay engaged.

lol only a single post on the daily game thread on the GB about the Suns (#4) vs Kings (#3) and it was about the Suns broadcasters being annoying. Celtics and Bucks fans been going at it for like half the thread haha

Feel like there may be less distractions as well. Bridges is one of my favorite players, but he doesn't have a serious attitude at all. Ayton prone to spacing out and the dancing and joking around may not have helped.

2 blocks 4 steals that's some massive activity defensively from Ayton. Want him to keep it up because we will be unstoppable with that sort of defensive activity from him.

C'mon now, let's not put DA's lack of focus on Bridges

He’s Crowder from last year with a bit lower shooting %. Both Crowder and Okogie shot 39% fg last season but Crowder shot 35% from 3’s while Okogie is currently at 32%. Still not a far drop off since Okogie can play defense same as Jae even if his numbers are a bit low. Plus he doesn’t cost nearly as much which is a huge positive.

Suns are now 11-3 since that 3 game skid in mid-Jan. 2L's to the Hawks and one to Mavs.

We kept Ayton cause we know what he’s capable of doing in the playoffs while Mikal and CanJ are great role players l

We kept Ayton cause we know what he’s capable of doing in the playoffs while Mikal and CanJ are great role players, but would likely disappeared had we went to WCF/NBA finals. If we stood pat and only traded Crowder it would not have been enough to get passed Nuggets, Mavs or possibly Grizzlies.
