As decent as Bamba could be at times from 3pt. I do not think it is required for a 3rd string center because Bamba could just as often disappear defensively as he could offensively.

We need 3-point shooting from our guards, not from our 3rd string center.

He played in Serbia for Mega (club where Jokić played) and did good. Solid pickup.

Re: Price: Magic Sign C Goga Bitadze
Reportedly David Steele is threatening g to quit. After they traded “Mo Bamba” because saying it for the 10,001 time was causing a mental breakdown, now “Goga Bitadze”???
This is exactly the kind of drama the front office wants for the Victor Jumbalaya sweepsteaks. In fact, I read in another thread they might even fire Jamal Mosley and hire Ted Lasso.

Re: Price: Magic Sign C Goga Bitadze
BTW.. is he really a physical C that bangs down low or is he the "finesse" type of C?
Like when he sees Embiid, Jokic, etc his face lights up and can't wait to body them or does he try to bait for offensive fouls and etc?

If he comes in with a pulse it’s a win over Bamba.

Hell be better than Mo Wagner. Those two will be fighting it out for a contract extension

Mo Wagner is the heart and soul of the team right now.
He’s already earned a potential 10+ mil extension and right now he’s a better player than Franz.
This new guy is just a scrub

Stop it.
There’s no place on earth that given Moritz Wagner anything approaching $10M per season.
And if somehow there actually is, then just shake his hand and wish him the very best in his future endeavors.

AT 10 MILLION???
My gawd, if we have to pay MoWagner 10 million just to retain Franz... we better trade Franz...
The Bucks are only paying Thanasis near, if not, the minimum to keep one of the WORLD's best player happy.

Re: Price: Magic Sign C Goga Bitadze
I’d pay Moritz third string money, because that’s what he’s really worth.
Somewhere between the league minimum which is like 2M per year and 4M per year.

I would like to think that we would not pay Mo Wagner that much, but management did pay Bamba 10 million this year so i would not put it past them.

We had to meet the salary cap floor, iirc, so it won't be the same case next season.
BTW, I think that MoW will get something like 5M/year from us.

If Bitadze ever takes a 3-point shot as a Magician this season, I will be shocked. His job is to bang with Carter in practice. That's it.

Who knows. Bear in mind we are talking about this hypothetical earth that knightro is talking about. I mean in this earth, Franz is a top-10 player in the league and i asking a 10m LLE contract ( because salary cap is through the roof ) for his bro in return for signing less with us. lol
