Allen and Mobley are virtually the same person except Mobley has +playmaking for a big. So eventually they'll likely move Allen in a package to acquire a starting caliber F to complete their lineup.

Not sure I want Mobley playing center.

He needs to gain like 30 pounds to play the 5. But unless he develops a 3 point shot, I don't really want him playing 4.

What could we use in his place?

A shooter , playmaker or 3&D guard with his size?

McClung can score and distribute, it's exactly what we need for the bench.

McClung looks better on dribble drive than Shake. And with McDaniels+Reed or Dedmon, you can play a Maxey+McClung backcourt

Don’t think Will Barton has signed anywhere else yet? Not a perfect wing, but he’d be a pretty damn good fit compared to what we have

We would have to cut someone to sign Barton

We all know who that someone should be

And that's when we bring in M&Ms to re-take the lead.

Mobley is still in his theoretical state more than reality

He seems like a guy who can in theory stretch the floor and guard 3-5

But right now he isn’t a great shooter and still a bit too light in the pants for some matchups and might be more of a help defender than a true paint protector

He is young tho and doesn’t seem like the kinda guy who will make a stink about his role

Doc seems like he’s sincerely trying to develop our bench unit since sliding Maxey to the bench. And if our bench will be good, we wont play close games as much as before

Will Barton doesn't give us anything we don't have. We need a distributor, which he is not.

The only guy on the team you can cut without losing money, and who is in and out of the rotation, is Reed. I guess you mean that.

He may not stink about his role but the people behind him will do it for him.

Seems like we can always clown on little brother but don't want the smoke from big brother.

Will Barton is a good playmaker for an offguard. And he's a willing shooter from three.

Milton's biggest problem is that, for some reason, he's afraid to shoot.

That's why I think guys like Alec Burks and Will Barton would be upgrades over him for our playoff rotation.

Yeah, I think Mobley is more like PF like a poor man’s version of AD.
