We need this win today going into the all star break. The next game is in like 6 days and that's a lot of time for problems to fester. We need good vibes for both the team and this fanbase.

He's going to go for the jugular and put Jokic away. Jokic won't even see it coming. His arrogance will cost him. He'll be put in the blender. He will be ISO'd. He'll leave this game different and I don't think he'll be the same player for the rest of the season. They'll call him Nokic, because he'll want no part of the Mavs in the post season after they're through with him tonight.

You don't understand anything about that part of the world and friendship between Luka and Nikola.

Is Bertans back yet? I'd like to see him play that second unit without Luka/with Kyrie, because I think he could be deadly in that semi motion offense Kyrie runs.

Also hope that Josh Green shows up. If he played like he does lately last game we win that against Minny. He needs to give us 15 points with solid defense.

How McGee and Powell handle Jokic is likely the outcome of the game? Even with Maxi back, Jokic is a tough cover. The best hope is cutting off the passing lanes and crowd Jokic.

Jokic is smarter and stronger than all Mavs frontcourt. If double-team is required, you have to steal the passes. Or else, Denver starters hit 80% like Minny starters did against the Mavs.

Imo I'd rather the gameplan be to stay at home on Jokic and let him cook. I'd rather he tire himself out and get 50 then let Murray, MPJ, KCP, etc. all shoot 3s at a high clip all game. Best D we can give on Jokic is Powell getting hit in the face and hopefully getting an offensive foul call.

On the other end, involve Jokic in every pick and roll. Force him to play D for 12-24 seconds every possession. Again, tire him out.

Is the first game Markieff Morris has played against Jokic since their scuffle? If so, perhaps we play Markieff to throw Jokic off his game and/or at least take a look at what he could give us.

The starting lineup for the Mavs tells you Just how pathetic this Mavs roster is...they're all likeable guys,great for locker room but:
-Frank is a terrible O Player
-Bullock is Just standing and waiting for open shots
-Green is ok(he's Young, athletic but a lot of times he's mobing too fast)
-powell is only good for pick and roll...otherwise useless

Luka's shot looks rough if he shoots it from a stationary position. Now we know why he needs all that dribbling before taking a shot. He shoots better that way.

Wood is definitely in Kidd's doghouse. No logical way to explain how Pinson went from high fives to 20 minutes per game.
