Yes! Rebounding and spacing, I'd cut Pinson or Frank and sign him.

I'd cut them both just to be safe.

Not 100% convinced on Kevin Love. But he is a Jeff Schwartz client and Mavs just granted Schwartz a workout for Lamarcus Aldridge. Might be a you scratch my back and I'll scratch your scenario.

For whatever it's worth, Love did this just 3 months ago.

Mavs need the rebounding, they're the worst in the league.

I read that the Heat are the front runners for Kevin Love.

Why in the world would we even entertain the thought of signing Love?
I thought the idea was to improve our frontcourt?

Not sure if bringing Moses back would solve anything but he showed some potential back then

Brown appeared in 34 games for the Clippers, averaging 4.6 points and 4.1 rebounds in 8.5 minutes. on a per minute basis the man is a rebounding monster since he is averaging one board every 2.07 minutes meaning he is doing far better than one rebound every 3 minutes the regular standard that teams aim for.

Powell grabs a board every 4.58 minutes, McGee gets one every 3.58 minutes on the court playing in 8.1 minutes

Clippers let a guy go because they added another center they acquired in Miles Plumlee.

Problem with Moses is he sucks at FT

He also gets hardly any blocks and steals and that is not something that inspires faith in the mans ability to defend the rim and he is unable to bang inside and that is sad for a guy his size who has not evidently worked to improve that part of his game. I say pass at this time maybe in a few years he will figure it out and start to show progress in those areas but I kind of doubt it he is way to skinny and that is not a good thing for guys at the 5 in the NBA.

Looks like Miami let Dedmond go so they must be prioritizing keeping Orland Robinson and that other large center they have on IR who can shoot. Those investments will end up paying off when they need a more traditional center. Utah is claiming they will not retain Azabuike so that is one option that we could try in the offseason. I doubt that Miami lets their guys go after this much time invested in developing them. 7' Robinson would have been a good guy to snag since he was undrafted and showed an ability to hit the 3. Our teams ability to evaluate centers is pure crap it seems or they would have gone after Robinson.

Love would be instantly 2nd best big after Wood and should eat all Powell/McGee/Bertans minutes. Still an above average rebounder who can go off for 25+ every once in a while.

Please no...

Zero defense, questionable offense at this point and obviously often injuried. Mavs need a reliable guy who can stay on the floor and do something under the rim. Powell would actually be ideal if he wasn't so soft and clumsy.

He would give us the exact same as Wood but on a lesser scale....offense, rebounding and no defense whatsoever.
We need a defensive/rebounding center with athleticism and size and Love does not fit into that category.
We need another McGee but with an interest to play basketball.

Reports have Kevin Love linked to Miami.
Since he played with Kyrie I haven't seen one thing regarding the two or any interaction between them.

And that is a lot more than all those 3 combined provide.

I’ve read that he hasn’t pursued a buyout. So starting to seem unlikely. We sure could use his defense.
