LOL. I was talking about another ?Euro big that Aaron Afflalo got into an exchange with..

Nemanja Bjelica is not a center and is 34 years old, playing in Europe now.

He isnt? And he is in his mid-30s? Well that sucks... on to the next Euro big

Goga averaged 28.5 ppg in the G League last season.

Small sample size, but Bitadze in 21 career NBA games as a starter...

25.4 MPG, 12.2 PPG, 5.8 RPG, 2.6 APG, 0.5 SPG, 1.8 BPG, .530 FG%, .313 3PT%, .662 FT%, .597 TS%.

I think there's a very good chance he's kept as the 3rd string C next season, or potentially even the backup C.

His fundamentals are good and I do think he will be on an NBA roster next year. But if the Magic is to develop M-Wagner, I am not sure this is the place for that.

This image sums up the commitments the NBA has given to developing him:
(( talk about needing a change of scenery ))
(( Isaiah Jackson is the clear backup C for the Pacers, so Bitadze needed to move on ))

I'm expecting the Magic to shut down Wendell for the season soon. He looks like he's playing through pain with his plantar fiscitis.

Goga will get a lot of opportunities.

I promise you they're not shutting anyone down any time soon.

These players and coaches want to fight for the play in. Obviously I don't think they're gonna get there and the front office probably feels the same, but the front office isn't pulling the plug on any of this until it's clear that the chase is over.

The question is, when does that happen?

They're 4 games back with 23 to go, so the odds are certainly not in their favor, but I wouldn't expect any obvious tanking measures until about 10 games left.
