And Booker too who’s been garbage this half and we haven’t talked about him enough.

8-4 on 4-8 shooting. Hopefully, he’s around 15 points, 7 rebounds on 7-9 shooting going into 4th quarter. And yeah, Booker needs to get going and shoot better.

Okogie doesnt have a history of getting buckets, he's always been a junk bucket getter and out there for his defense and massive wingspan. He's the perfect 5th when KD suits up.

Basically.

His shots are just going on so his teammates are feeding him. He's a great defender who can handle the little guys. If we MEM, he's our Ja guy. We meet Denver, he's our Jamaal Murray guy.

That's his value. Allowing KD to handle the scoring and Ayton to not have to switch out so much and stay home while hopefully getting rebounds.

Who's guarding Kawhi Leonard? He's 0 of 8

Booker gets a pass because he's been old reliable for 8 years now and coming off a hammy. I think going forward I'll be happy with like 13/10 from Ayton when KD gets back. But yeah right now we need more.

Still on minutes restriction I suppose

Ummm

He got ate alive by an all NBA defender in Kawhi Leonard. All the more reason why this whole KD thing will be awesome.

It was pretty obvious who Phoenix cares about more when Bridges was sent packing over Ayton. DA might be soft but when playoffs rolls around that’s who you want defending the paint and shooting 60+% over a wing who will likely disappear in the WCF/NBA finals. I mean I l love Bridges still saddened we lost him but Ayton is a more important piece to our team than Bridges at this point.

forgot the green font I guess

No green font my friend. I know that Bridges brings more value RIGHT NOW considering how he has been playing and improving this season over Ayton. But in terms of playoffs you can’t tell me Ayton is not more valuable than Bridges? DA can switch on multiple defenders, can defend well inside causing problems for many centers besides Giannis & Embiid or course. He was a huge reason we reached the finals few years ago. Bridges is an excellent roll player but that’s all he’s a roll player until he proves otherwise on the Nets.

Ayton can switch on multiple players... and get worked just as he has been tonight. He's NOT a great man on man defender and puts in mixed effort. That is indisputable fact.

Bridges is far more than a role player. He's made that clear in the three games he's played for BKN so far. Maybe he's not a first option but he's certainly a high second. We'd be in far worse shape and likely having lost games had Bridges not played as well as he did while Booker was out. His contributions were far more valuable than Ayton's during that span, too.

And to your point about Ayton being a key factor two years ago? Yeah. I'll give you that one, but he isn't the same player as he was then and has regressed since that point. He was playing for a new deal, finally got one, and hasn't played up to it. He's mostly coasted and it's frustrating to no end.

I'm not an Ayton fan by any means but won't hesitate to give him credit when it's deserved. And since that Finals run, he hasn't really deserved much praise but definitely loads of ridicule for lackadaisical effort.

Need to get more to the free throw line 5 attempts in first half is not enough and quite embarrassing.

Does Darius Bazely play basketball?
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

If he does anything outside of corner 3s you have to bench him

It’s surreal seeing KD on our bench. I never assumed a player of his caliber would be on our team. Last time it happened was when we traded for Shaq but O’Neal was past his prime averaging 17 ppg while Durant puts up 30 PPG. :o

I think we're gonna see a monster KD. He knows if he's the 1st to bring a chip to the Valley, it means something.

I also think the guy doesn't really have a "HOME" so to speak. Dub fans, Nets fans don't care and OKC fans are still pissed most likely.

There's a good chance he wins here, he goes into the HOF as a Sun.
