Udoka and Bridges? We're really throwing morals and ethics out of the window if that happens.

I know the Suns got KD and realistically they only lost Bridges and Johnson from the team this year, but man they needed depth before that trade and still lack it badly.

TJ Warren was sold as sold get, but he played 8 mins tonight and 7 mins the game before that is without KD available. Terrence Ross made a larger impact. Okogie is one of the better stories this year.

We are still seeing guys like Biz, Landale, Torrey Craig, Damion Lee, Saben Lee and Wainwright get real minutes. I really don't think they get out of the 2nd round given lack of depth, age and injury concerns along with Ayton drama.

Also, find it a bit funny how everyone jumped on the Pacers nuts for their hot start and now they are 6th worst team in the league.

Also, the Eastern Conf that looked super strong 6 months ago looks very beatable next season.

1. Celtics will still be great
2. Bucks are older, what do they do with Middleton? Still no young pieces or picks.
3. Philly, does Harden stay? Without him they seem pretty beatable
4. Cavs are going to be good for a long time- I tried to convince y'all Dmitch was the move.
5. Nets - looking rather weak all of sudden. They didn't get much for Kyrie, Suns appear to be decent and they are only going to 1 first this year in the 20s. Owe their pick next year to Houston.
6. Knicks - whatever, they still lack star power. Brunson and Randle are nice players, but neither are real allstars IMO
7. Heat - They look broken, maybe Jimmy goes wild in the playoffs but I think they are losing first round of playoffs.
8. Hawks- Trae might want out, they have a bunch of solid starters but something clearly doesn;t mesh there. They are down picks from Murray trade.
9. Wizards - Treadmill
10. Raptors - probably will go through same blow it up talk this summer or next deadline
11. Bulls - looking rough, not sure they have a plan
12. Pacers - Hali and Mathurin, but outside of that they have a bunch of solid pieces. Feels like they need to still hit on one more top 5 pick to be dangerous.
13. Magic - Lots of talent, will have two top 8 picks thanks to Bulls probably. They are a real sleeper next year.
14. Hornets - similar to Magic, we could really have a great offseason and be in the mix.
15. Pistons - same as Pacers, Magic, Hornets.

One of the bottom 4 teams will be a top 4 team in the East next year is my wild prediction.

Mitch paraphrasing Al Pacino's speech from Scarface to MJ during the draft and last trade deadline: "First you get the 2nd round picks, then you get the power, THEN you get the superstars..."

I hope Cody can stay healthy and make a difference. I'm really rooting for him. Such a great dude.

It's crazy to think back at just how likeable the old Hornets were... just a team filled with awesome people... kemba, biz, zeller, mkg, Marvin, lin.. wish they were better at hoopin' and staying healthy.

Imagine telling someone in 2018 that Biz would be the last one left in the league out of that group

The all-star game is almost unwatchable. Just a bunch of guys dunking and practising on the layup line.

ASG was pathetic lol

I turned it on for about 5 minutes to see what was up, just two guys going 1v1 while everyone standing off the side at half court watching.

Just get rid of the game altogether at this point. it's dead jim

Yeah, even by ASG standards that was pretty unwatchable. 3rd Q was fun for a minute, but then it got way too selfish to be enjoyable. Kept waiting for the intensity to pick up in 4th like last few years, but that never happened. I don't think it can be fixed.

For comparison.

Still doing a bunch of stupid, flashy **** but at least they're playing defense and running a semblance of "plays"

Magic waive RJ Hampton. https://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/270583/Magic-Waive-RJ-Hampton

Loads of athleticism. Highly recruited, but went pro instead of going to college. Wonder what happened to this kid; and if he may warrant a flyer from the Hornets?

RJ Hampton waived by Orlando. Should we kick the tyres with the roster spot vacated by Reggie Jackson being bought out?

He only earns $2.4 million this season and his option for next year was declined so maybe we should try to claim him off waivers. Or possibly a one year minimum deal off waivers with a one year team option?

We need to find some 2 guards with decent size. Just turned 22 and could be a 3 & D candidate. 6'4 with 6'7 wingspan.

Detroit already got him, honestly I am not heartbroken over it. He has been pretty bad other than a tiny sample size from this year. He isn't a good shooter, isnt' a good playmaker, isn't a good defender.

I watched him in the summer league and he looked like a bad rookie and not a guy entering year 3.

I would rather flip McGowens into a full contract off his 2 way and see if we can find a guy that specializes in defense with the last roster spot.
