I like Kevin Love's pedigree and resume. I heard he had a hand condition? Bogdanovic has shown more consistency. Is Love still a rebounding factor?

We won't know unless we give it a shot. It's a low risk high reward move. We have nothing to lose other then continuing on the insanity of having to deal with the undersized Martin and Highsmith at the 4 spot.

The problem with signing damaged goods is that it's not going to help you except for long term contractual capping?

I'd say go with the most sensible weapon. Don't just throw caution to the wind again.

Word is love feels good now but the Cavs have been playing well and didn’t want to insert him back into the lineup.

Why can't we just have an easy one. Suns are a little worrisome here considering they give Love his best chance at a ring.

Sigh. Russ and Love would make me a happy camper.

Man if we can't even get one of washed Love/Russ when we have more then the vet min to throw at them along with a solid role and minutes that's gonna be sad.

Love/Russ are ex-olympian pedigree. Not the worst combo. Alas, adding Russ would mean less Dipo (who has missed games ) so that covers that hole but it doesn't help our 3 ball game so much. Hoping for a Duncan resurgence. If Love is indeed healthy and ready to go, his savvy can be a difference maker if he can be effective in the playoffs. Can he? What are his playoff stats?

I'm so jealous of the Clips. They really got Bones for two 2nd round picks. Eric Gordon for Wall, Kennard and a protected pick swap. Why couldn't we do those types of moves during the deadline?? :banghead:

Golden State and Phoenix would be tough competition but it's all up now to Love if he will prioritize a ring over playing time and having a major role.

Though he won 1 already, he should be trying to impress GMs for his next contract.

If we can add Westbrook and Love I think that puts us ahead of the Knicks, Brooklyn and Cleveland in the Eastern Conference. I also think we could beat the 76ers in a series.

We still won't beat Boston or Milwaukee but if we get favorable matchups we could somehow find ourselves in the ECFs again depending how the standings shake out at the end of the season.

This is dependent on other things happening as well such as getting back a healthy Dipo, Yurt, Lowry (off the bench), Robinson contributing some shooting and Jimmy turning it on come playoff time.

Going from fielding a teams of Jimmy, Bam and 6-8 undrafted guys to.

A hopefully healthy 10-11 man rotation of Jimmy, Bam, Herro, Westbrook, Dipo, Love, Lowry, Strus, Gabe, Robinson and Martin.

This last part of the season will show us what's possible. But I'm hopeful for best. (If we can land both)

If PHX are willing to offer him their tax paying MLE and go further into the tax and they'd be willing to let him start I don't think we have a chance.

Too good an opportunity to pass up starting on the WC favorites for the same if not more money than here.

We just have to hope they only willing to offer him the Vet Min and a limited role.

Or hopefully all this talk about having a relationship with the players agent pays off.

Bones and Eric Gordon would have solved our front court issue?

Season turning from a competitive Endeavor to pure entertainment.

That's fine, we have nothing to lose - Westbrook might even get us an higher pick.

The only issue is that focusing on old patches might distract us from the real, deep, future thinking moves we should be worrying about.

Unfortunately Spo isn’t getting out of his ways, he’s stuck in them and has been for years
