Bones and Eric Gordon would have solved our front court issue?

I’m sure he means for pieces to fix whatever issues they have, not just those 2 specifically

According to this we have interest in Westbrook, Pat Bev, Love, and Ibaka as we’ve already seen. He mentions Miami has also brought Cody Zeller in for a workout

I think we'd need to offer a starting role to both WB and Love to lure them in.

Westbrook/Gabe/Lowry
Herro/Strus/Robinson
Butler/Oladipo
Love/Martin/HH
Bam/Yurt

Seems pretty decent, I guess. Lol

Im hearing rumblings of RW liking the bulls and may choose to go that route if he gets bought out. Makes sense why Miami is pivoting hard for Kevin Love he hasnt made a decision yet.

Miami believes RW has more left in the tank than Kevin Love snd others in the market. Which makes sense why RW was their main point of emphasis, now they direct attention to positional need in PF/C.

Expecting no one at this point, so it'll be nice if they do land a cooked water animal.

Their 6 game losing streak must have sold him on the idea

No but these are moves that would help our bench. I would rather watch Bones Hyland be our backup PG over Bouyea. He flashes potential and could be a potential starter for us in the future. Meanwhile, we're giving a 2nd to dump Dedmon just to stay away from the luxury tax. Like come on

Bones would only make sense if Lowry was dealt. We didn’t have the same hand as some of these other teams hence why we couldn’t make the equivalent trades. And I know that isnt a popular idea here but its the reality. Expiring contracts like Wall are much easier to get out of than Lowry or Duncan.

Gordon is just a name too. If I showed you the numbers for him and Strus you wouldnt know who is who.

Man it's just crazy how we only have 2 second round picks right now. We saw so many teams this deadline trade 2nd round picks for an average player (Jae Crowder, Bones, Rui, GP2, etc.) Wtf did we do with all of them? Did spending 4 on KZ Okpala ruin our 2nd round picks or something

Yea KZ was a big miss by the scouting dept that ended up costing a lot of picks. To be fair though, what we saw at the deadline this year is pretty unprecedented in terms of # of 2nd round picks being traded.

They had me convinced KZ was going to be good. All those pics. In the end, I dont think it matters much to us because weve never valued the picks as much as others. Other teams felt the same this year apparently. Even moreso.
