Learn from Shaq, kid

1. Find a small company with potential and give them some money in exchange for shares
2. Advertise their product on TV, watch their sales grow
3. Get paid for the ad with the money you gave them
4. Sit back and enjoy being an owner of a booming business that cost you nothing

Or, just play basketball. God damn these guys are greedy.

Shaq only does all these endorsements cause his first divorce ate up a huge chunk and, according to Chuck, he has about 15 kids or something, lol.

And Chuck has/had a gambling problem so I'm sure he's always trying to keep the $$$ flowing.

I’m actually stunned Giannis has defended that many shots? Surely that number is way too high?

How many players lead the league in scoring and rebounding in the same season Wilt aside? Giannis could do it this year.

He is 0,7 PPG behind Embiid and Doncic and is leading the league in rebounding with Sabonis at 12,3 RPG.

I think catching up is a tall order, it would be incredible if he could.

I remember last year when he was slightly behind embiid and LeBron hoping he would catch up but it's hard.

He has gotten closer with the win streak, I think he needs to average 35ppg rest of the way to tie up with them. That's not always possible if he only plays 28 minutes in a blow out.

Fascinating since guys really don't try to go at him, unless it's a late-clock switch on the perimeter. Incredibly impressive stat because I believe during his 2020 DPOY season he also held opponents he defended to less than 45% FG.

Leading the league in scoring/rebounding together, potentially, would be a sexy feather in his cap but I'm not quite sure he cares.

After tonight's scare I no longer care about MVP.

For a milisecond I was thinking....if he played 9 minutes and only scored 2pts (although had 7boards and 3 ast in just 9 minutes!) that's going to count as a game and slightly count against his scoring average.

But then I was like...ya know I really don't give a ****. I want a healthy Giannis destroying teams in the playoffs with healthy teammates. That's really all that matters. **** the stats, **** the MVP race, **** the scoring title, I want the championship.

Even worst case scenario (broken hand or finger) wouldn't keep him out of the playoffs, so as soon as I saw him get up I was relieved. Because there was that short 10-20 seconds of absolute dread where I saw him on the ground and he looked like he was holding his knee. I could actually feel my heart sink into the abyss...

Giannis' career averages are now 22.50 / 9.56 / 4.66 / 1.3 / 1.1 in 32.6 minutes (pnt, rbs, ast, blk, stl).
First 3 years (238 games!): 12.21 / 6.27 / 2.95 / 1.1 / 1.0 in 30.5 minutes.
Without the first 3 years: 27.77 / 11.24 / 5.53 / 1.4 / 1.2 in 33.7 minutes.

I turned the Cs game off when he banged knees because I didn't want to see the replay. Turned it back on when I checked the ESPN app and saw he was playing.

"I hate to tell you guys there is no perfect basketball player"
"there is no basketball player with zero flaws in their game"
"there is always something you can nitpick"

Spot on, JJ. I've been screaming all of these things for the better part of this decade when Bucks fans, out of all people, want to nitpick Giannis' game. "Just wait until he gets a jumper." "If he could only shoot free throws." "He needs to play more under control." And on and on and on. The first step is acknowledging that there is no perfect player. And then... simply appreciate the greatness. We'll never experience anyone like Giannis again.

Maybe irrational but I don’t ever believe Giannis is actually hurt, he’s the Greek Freak! We’ve seen him invert his knee the wrong direction and win finals MVP putting up 50 in the deciding game a week or two later. Hand injury def isn’t going to keep him out long, I’d rather he rest during the ASG since idc about it but he’ll probably play since that’s just who Giannis is.

Is there any new update on the wrist injury from last night? Clean X-rays are obviously great news but is he gonna get a MRI done too now or what?

Yeah, bro, but what about TS%, rBPM, RAPTOR, LeBRON???? :noway:

He's the only guy in NBA history who is working on FIVE CONSECUTIVE seasons of 25/10/5 or better on 50+% from the field while being unanimous All-NBA first team and defensive team. And the sixth (2018) he just missed at 27/10/4.9 and All-NBA second team.

Just saw Woj on ESPN say Giannis is having further testing/evaluation today but that he really wants to play in ASG and will do everything he can to play. Must not be a worst case scenario injury if he is gunning to still play in ASG.

I love this kid's will to compete/perform. Besides, we could see a situation like CP3 or LeBron where he plays sparingly in the game Sunday.
