You mean like a cooked (old) water animal (whale) that no longer swims?
I think this FO is first in line!

Don’t worry guys, Herro can’t play in games but now he’s healthy to participate in the 3 point contest tomorrow, let’s hope he wins it

Fking ridiculous how these players making 30 millions in a year can’t participate in a real game because his lil boo boo. But of course, the social event such as the All Star weekend can’t be rejected.
Where is the fun in that?

Man it's just crazy how we only have 2 second round picks right now. We saw so many teams this deadline trade 2nd round picks for an average player (Jae Crowder, Bones, Rui, GP2, etc.) Wtf did we do with all of them? Did spending 4 on KZ Okpala ruin our 2nd round picks or something

Yea KZ was a big miss by the scouting dept that ended up costing a lot of picks. To be fair though, what we saw at the deadline this year is pretty unprecedented in terms of # of 2nd round picks being traded.

Corrections we only 1 2nd we used the other one to offload dedmon.

I think he meant the 3 picks it took to acquire him plus the 1 to get rid of him.

Miami is just playing preventive passive treatment. Herro is getting old man Jimmy load management for the playoffs. He is injury prone it seems and Miami has accepted this no other reason for him to be allowed not to play with minor lagging injuries.

I think its important to get Kevin Love in order for the Heat to run functional offensive plays. I get that some want RW for purely entertainment purposes but I do not see him making the team better at all.

Injury prone from 19-23, surely it’ll get better with age :o

Some athletes bodies arent resistant to high stress load. Genetics are an interesting thing, your on the wrong side of it and regardless of diet, exercise, and treatment it will still just not handle the load you throw at it. If Herro had to work as hard as Bam on both offense and Defense against big boys while playing perimeter players he would have 2 surgically repaired knees and back issues.

I guess playing in the 3 point contest is a way of preserving him also.

No, what it does is being into the eyes of casuals and brings interest if he wins. Next year it helps even in the slightest for a trade.

Bones Hyland - heard on the ringer podcast that the dude is uber talented and can score but is selfish and locker room problem and people around the league know that. Hence his relatively cheap trade assets wise.

Kevin Love - has a v good relationship with Cleveland. I would not be surprised at all if they make him promise to sign with a west team if they do him this favor. I unfortunately expect a PHX or GSW signing. I just don't see why CLE would buy him out and let him play for Bulls or Heat or Sixers as direct competition.

Russ - Not surprised Heat getting mixed reviews. By all accounts RW is a good guy and legit competitor. But he's also been pointed at by media and some players as the reason every team he's gone to has failed, fair or not. It was v clear LeBron and AD wanted nothing to do with him and tried getting Kyrie. Russ wasn't having it and locker room vibes were v off. Can't really blame russ, lebron is a bad leader and media chitting on russ and LeBron trying to get scoring title. So I see both sides and I'm not surprised we got mixed feedback. Also if we get russ, what the heck do we do with Lowry. Shut him down till off-season and hope to move him then? Possible... but I don't think that happens. I've never seen the heat shut out a player like that, especially not a dude like Lowry.

Preach brother ICC! You have to get lucky with your genetics. Nobody is created equal.

Yeah I think it was ICC who first reported that Lowry agent sent an email that really got the front office heated. The front office need to smooth things out for the time being just like the Lakers did with RW until they can move him back to Toronto to retire.
