This is exactly where I"m at with this. Let Paul Reed play, Dedmon is insurance, Harrell is a chess piece. That's how I would play that if I were Doc. Reeds time is coming, everyone knows it including Doc. He's going to be the one that can make something happen in a playoff series as a backup. I know that's not saying a whole lot, but he's our best shot.

I agree with your sentiment, but doesn't the term innings eater mean someone that won't move the needle one way or the other. I wish we had that as our backup C and wish Dedmon was that guy lol
