Excellent choice! We don't say that very often about the... Commanders.

Re: The Washington Football Team Thread
Sounds like Howell gets a chance to win the starting spot. Although I’d still like the team to bring in someone to compete with him for it. I’d also look at bringing in a QB that knows Bieniemys offensive play book and language.
Shane Beuchele is a free agent I think & it shouldn’t cost much to sign him. Not sure who else is available that’s played QB for B-Enemy.

I think bringing in people you're comfortable with is over rated you want competent players I think sam's gonna be good keeping Tyler is a decent enough idea as a good solid back up glue guy and then you take a flyer on someone or draft someone late.BearlyBallin wrote:Sounds like Howell gets a chance to win the starting spot. They should absolutely bring in as much talent at the quarterback position.

Feels like the second Ron trips up, Eric will get the job lol. Can't say I'm against it.

Fanspeak on the Clock
https://fanspeak.com/ontheclock-nfl-mock-draft-simulator/
TEAM PICKS
16: R1 P16 OT Paris Johnson - Ohio State
47: R2 P16 TE Darnell Washington - Georgia
97: R3 P34 C John Michael Schmitz - Minnesota
118: R4 P16 G Andrew Vorhees - USC
152: R5 P16 CB Riley Moss - Iowa
193: R6 P16 LB Ivan Pace Jr. - Cincinnati
215: R6 P38 WR Andrei Iosivas - Princeton
235: R7 P16 S Rashad Torrence II - Florida
This is a fun site for nfl draft simulations. If you buy the premium you can make trades. I’m too cheap to buy it but if I did I’d try to trade from 16 down and pick up an extra draft pick to grab a QB on day 2 or 3.

Even though I cannot stand Bezos, he's worlds better than that scumbag Dan Snyder.

Did Bienemy call his own plays in KC? Anyone know where he was before?
I thought Scott Turner did a pretty good job w/what he had to work with but it does sound like Bienemy will be stricter.

He did but so did Andy Reid. Some speculate that is one reason B wanted to strike out on his own to get full control of play calling. I think he coached at Philly and came along with Reid to KC. Before that he was a pretty good NFL running back.

Re: The Washington Football Team Thread
Regarding our QB situation, Hogs haven had a nice writeup on Fresno State QB Jake Haener. He's on the small side but looks very good as a developmental 3rd option that can be had in the later rounds.

A lot of analysts have very good things to say about Haener. He's probably on the top of the heap when it comes to the second rate QBs.
I have no clue where McKee goes. Mocks have him all the way from 1st round to 5th round.

Nice article ranking this year's QB draft class. McKee is part of the group.
