This signing of Love is similar to what Milwaukee has with Lopez, a big that can stretch the floor, play inside and rebound. Not necessarily the exact same player/role, but maybe even better considering Love has a more rounded set of skills, better shooter and more mobile.
Now the PnR with Bam and Love, will not make Bam the exclusive target, while the undersized (other) can’t get to the rim nor shoot over bigs.

I’m interested to see how this all develops.

Lineup :o

Interesting.
Considering Bam can cover 5 positions and Love can stretch the floor, would leave only Orlando Robinson as an exclusive protector.
Now if you meant Duncan Robinson, then you are looking at a stretched floor without the midget 4 rebound giveaway. This scenario helps Bam greatly.

Had Love on my fantasy team the year he had a 30 pts, 30 reb game.

Ever since then, I’ve been a fan.

Assuming that our injury situation improves rather than gets worse, the Love signing should give us the push we need to move up past the Nets and Knicks in the standings. I doubt we can climb any higher with only 23 games left. That should match us up with the Cavs in the 1st round of the playoffs.

Would add an interesting wrinkle to this Love scenario.

HC: Spo

Back to G League?: Jamal Cain, Bouyea, Orlando

Haslem should be bought out to make space on roster for Jamal or Bouyea but GL with that.

So far at the half point of the all star game Bam scored 4 points in 13 Minutes with 2 Turn overs and 1 assist. Looked a bit on the outside with so many other quality scorers beside him. If they were actually trying on defense he would be more valuable in the game, unfortunately in this game its all about scoring and he isn't comparable to the others on the team. He is having fun out there though, that's good.

Yea, I can't think of any other player where their skills and value don't really translate to an all-star type game.
He's great at passing from top of key, defense, rebounding, making hustle plays. Guys like him rarely make all-star, part of the reason he doesn't get lots of attention. And he's not as smooth or fluid on offense as a Kevin Garnett dude to just be stroking jumpers out there when everyone just wants to dunk or shoot 3's. He should def shoot a 3 in the game. lol

But I ain't gonna watch the all star game, lmao. all star games for all sports is pretty mediocre.
about to watch last of us instead.

The answer you're looking for is Anthony Mason.

I hope the trade helps us. We're bigger with more shooters. I can't complain.

Caleb might be freed up to see better quality shots?

Same thing with Jimmy. Great player who deserves to be an all star, but isn't flashy so kinda like a fish out of water at the game.

Jokic doesn't fit in the all star game too cause he's not the player to shoot off the dribble 3's or do crazy dunks.

If it was 1v1, then Bam could show his bag like that king of the court game during the Olympics practice
