And he thinks he's still an all-star.

I don't know how a lineup with Russ-Derozan-Zach-Vuc makes a lick of sense, but that is where Donovan and AK seem to want to go. Two of your top 3 perimeter players can't shoot 3s. It won't work.

I actually think it could work. Our biggest problem this season has been lack of a floor general. Ayo and Caruso are serviceable but neither is a true point guard and Dragic unfortunately isn’t capable of being a starter anymore. Our offense has suffered nightly because of this while our defense has significantly improved this season. Interestingly l, Williams has become a solid 3-point shooter regardless of the lack of point guard play but our overall 3P% has been in the toilet this season and everyone else’s numbers for the most part are down offensively. Westbrook would immediately be the best passer on the team if he came here. And if he starts to gel with the starters then I would expect us to start hitting more 3s since the lack of hitting them has been costing us games.

Drive and kick Westbrook could certainly help catch and shoot Zach and P.Will... Vuc as the pick and pop or roll man could work with Russ ..... DeMar as a release valve? I don't know DeMar is the odd man out in the absolute most extreme way in that starting 5.

Not a Russ fan, but I like the move as it will likely have one of two effects. It will either give this team the added boost it has missed in these many close losses and turn us into a winning team, or it will have the opposite effect and propel us into the #5 spot and help the tank. Moreover, it will take away from both Coby's and Ayo's minutes and stats and possibly lower their FA value (just a little).

Signing Westbrook would be such a classic, predictably stupid Bulls move.

He probably makes this sad sack of a team better. So we're going to eff up the tank in a star-prospect draft for the right to get bounced in the playin!! Wooooo!!

Morons. Complete, morons.

Please, please, please Russ...go back to Washington. You and Beal are already cool, right? It's a little bit warmer in DC too!

Yeah that would be extremely shortsighted, but it's not the first time this org makes moves based on ticket sales and possible postseason revenue - even the play-in.

But if I were Russ and if the choices are Chicago or Washington for 20 some games left and your goal is to play in the playoffs, you go to Washington. They're almost 3 full games ahead of us in the Standings so your aim there becomes to try to be a Top 6 team rather than just simply making the play-in. WAS has been hovering around .500 and is as average as it comes whereas Chicago is in a free-fall and unraveling spectacularly. You really don't wanna join this mess.

That all makes sense, but people do weird things. Maybe deeper down he feels some bitterness for them trading him after he played pretty well and elevated them (all relatively speaking).

Stop being such an optimist and thinking like something might work. I envision RW being able to feed the ball into Vuc in the post, something Zach has real difficulty doing. If Zach and PWill are in their spots when RW drives to the basket there are wide open shots to be had. The one player I wouldn't worry about is Demar, if the ball gets to him anywhere on the floor and there's time on the clock, he'll get his shots.

On the other hand the Bulls look like Westbrook's best opportunity to start, show that he can still play and line up his next contract. That could even be with the Bulls as insurance against Lonzo's return and if Ball is healthy either can work with the 2nd unit. Then there's the possibility of the roster being redone over the summer.

What tank ? there is no tank. Even without Westbrook or whoever they get they will not lose enough to get a top 4 pick.

Well there you have it. No Westbrook. I expected him to just stay in LA especially since Paul George was recruiting him. Not sure why the Clippers wanted him so badly since he will get in Kawhi and Paul George’s way but oh well let them figure it out.

For the Bulls now let’s see who they get between Wall and Beverley. Both won’t have a huge impact like Westbrook would but they would help. Im guessing they sign one of them today.

The info is Orlando Magics pick. End of story. You might not like it but it’s the truth.

Yup, that makes more sense. Buyout guys don't go to a #11 seed that's lost 6 in a row lol.

Honestly, we really shouldn't bother with Pat Bev or John Wall either. But you know this team is gonna try to get one of them...

As sad as Wall's season has been this year, he'd still instantly be our best passer lol. Tells you how desperate we are for a real PG.

I wish DRose was bought out but oh well. John Wall or Patrick Beverly are fine to look like we are trying to not tank but it won’t affect the team anyway.
