Cats were so desperate for a signing they're excited over a 34yo Kevin Love lol

I don't think Love raises the team's ceiling at all. But it might raise the floor a little, and at least there's a fresh reason to watch now because the team was soo stale. It will be refreshing to see another shooter out there with some size that can rebound and pass. Just having some size will be nice to see quite honestly for me anyways. I'm sick to death of Spo's small ball nonsense.

Our first test comes this saturday against the Bucks on national TV "ESPN" game. Hopefully Gianis plays so we can get a good look at how that matchup would look like now. Kevin Love will help pull bigs out from under the basket which is something we haven't had. I expect Bam to feast on outlet passes to an open Kevin Love. If he comes in Hitting the three at a decent clip it will definitely change how this team plays. Hoping all the Kevin Love minutes happen along side Bam, its going to help both of them out tremendously.

My expectations for Kevin Love are as realistic as possible. I think he helps, i think hes a better fit next to Bam and Butler than Martin.

I also dont think we could have grabbed a better player than him on the trade deadline, we dont have the assets, period. The deadline goal was to get rid of lowry and robinson, and no one wanted them. So what else were we going to do.

Also Jovic could learn a lot from Love, they have similar playing style.

Man Utah really folded on those intensive buyout negotiations.. could have gotten an asset! and new era Watchout was wrong for the 100th time in a row. genuinely glad trade and buyout season is over so the wannabe insider posters can just chill for a bit and we can come together to just talk about our team as is and if they can find a way to pull it together for a possible ECF run. I think it's more likely we're a 2nd round exit, but Jimmy is a completely different animal in the playoffs and it's hard to quantify that impact during a regular season where he's coasted more than ever.

I like this a lot. Obviously Jovic has some mobility, can play in transition and maybe off the dribble but to have some mentorship from a vet like Love who's an exceptional positional rebounder, passer and shooter... good guy to encourage him and educate on some nuances.

Knowing Spo, he will slowly add his new pieces to the rotation and it might not be until the end of the season until we see these new pieces integrated, if at all.

I see Spo being very patient with his rotations as well. I'd be shocked if Love isn't off the bench the first few games unless it was part of the negotiation. Hopefully we get Vic back as well because his defense was really helping to turn the season around. He's vital to what we do.

Wizards have trash coaching and GM. Did they even make the playoffs?

No way both Strus and Duncan fall out of the playoff rotation. Duncan is expected because he is already out of it, but Strus will be in it regardless.
Spo shrinks the rotation to 9 in the playoffs. Someone not seeing minutes.

Still amazed Heat added rebounding. Heat actually have a chance to compete on the boards against big teams.

Still rumors about Dragic being released. Will be dramatic to see how the Heat reacts to that.
