Feel free to add more players if those frequent all-D selections not meeting your standards. People like to downplay DeAndre Jordan but he did anchor a top 5 defense for clippers in 16.

Beverly's offense is definitely more valuable than his defense imo

What??? Beverly has 3x all-D selections but never an all-nba, even 3rd team. He is known for his bulldog style hustle play

he is known but he has like no track-record of moving the needle of his team's defenses, so again, unless you think reality is irrelevant

Draymond does not score much but he is the offensive hub for Warriors and lead the team in assists for many years. For the same reason I did not list Rondo or Kidd. It is ok if you want add him to the 1-way D.

Him leading the team in assists is rendered moot by Curry having the biggest effect on teammate effiency by a landslide. By impacr measures raw or otherwise, dray's defense is consistently alot more valuable, and dray's defense isn't as teammate dependent(he can lead top 10 defenses without strong defensive support). Would say Dray firmly belongs on 1-way d. I'd also rate peak dray solidly ahead of kyrie, beal, walker, and wall while only having luka.jokic/curry/harden solidly ahead. Gobert is trickier due to the lack of clear postseason elevation(seems to be the opposite effect), but i'd still put him ahead of wall, walker, and beal. We'll say how JJJ maps out but he's already inching towards draymond and his cieling might be higher imo

It is ok to put Draymond in the one-way D and I guess it is me who valued his playmaking too much. Still, for Dray we are moving to historically great D level again, with DPOY and 7x all-D. I will also take him over many of the one-way O. My point is those one-way Os when healthy are all franchise players getting paid max. Even best of the best, Dray, Simmons, and Gobert, would be bad contracts when paid max. The GMs and coaches have endorsed with their checkbooks.

Don't think we're in too much disagreement then. Modern nba, best one-way o>bestone-way d~2nd tier one way o. That's supported by basically everything
