Re: Brandon Miller - Alabama
The last game really showed his diversity as a scorer in this game.
0:10 – classic corner catch-and-shoot 3
0:23 – moves off the ball to get open for a 3
0:58 – attacks a close-out into a nice midrange floater (an important shot for him!)
1:18 – PnR where he refuses the screen, crosses his man over and finishes in the paint for an and-1
1:34 – off-ball curl to the rim for a nice guided finish in the air
1:44 – transition basket where he attacks the close-out for a lay-up
The previous game or two also had pull up 3s, isolation scoring from the perimeter and a couple post-ups. His scoring tools are seriously impressive.

Of course ignore Jabari's current season
Yeah, Jabari was 1.5 years younger as a prospect , same level shooting talent and a much better defender.
I wasn’t that high on Jabari , but I’d still take him over Miller as a prospect
I would say I have Miller over Jabari, not even using hindsight 20/20.
Miller is a better shot creator for himself, shooting a much higher percentage from inside the arc and his ceiling seems much higher just watching the film without trying to overthink age.

Jabari was much better in isolation at Auburn (based on the synergy data I've seen) and they both suck as PnR handlers, so I am curious whether you are considering off ball movement in this statement or is this simply an eye test thing?

Eye test, Jabari took some of the worst shots ever in isolation last year. Luckily for him he was playing next to Kessler so majority of the time he was being guarded by a much smaller player in college and those turnaround jumpers were easier.
but yeah in terms of freeing themselves up for open looks or getting all the way to rim Brandon Miller is much more adept than Jabari was at Auburn.

Now that we know he is a scumbag that delivered the gun that Darius Miles used in his shooting hopefully we see him kicked off Bama's team. Ideally I would love to see him blackballed from the league but we know that won't happen. Hopefully the girls family can at least kick his ass in a civil suit.

Dont really remember Jabari creating his own offense. I mean he would just face up and shoot over you anyways but nothing fancy.

holy **** **** is the only reaction.
this is some thug life moment of the highest order.
drives car, deliver gun, teammates murders someone
did the police get them at the scene or did miller drive them away also?

You would think that but the article I read said that cops couldn't do anything about it.

Yeah i don't get it
"Brandon hasn’t been in any type of trouble, nor is he in any type of trouble in this case," Oats said. "He was in the wrong spot at the wrong time."
Oats said that Miller has been interviewed by the police, and law enforcement is, "fully comfortable with everything that happened there."

You have to think that this is about to blow up big time. Everyone tried to cover up for this kid because he is a star but this looks really bad.

Re: Brandon Miller - Alabama
if he was gonna get charged he would've already, the entire thing was caught on tape
Jaden Bradley was there too
Oats is saying everyone has already been cooperating and that Miller had no idea what he was "delivering" to Miles/Davis.
Miller's car also for some reason was shot at.
Maybe he knew maybe he didn't, but yea, if he hasn't gotten charged by now he won't. This case is pretty much a done deal already with full testimonies and actual tape. None of this is new to police/Alabama.

He was instructed via text to bring a loaded gun at a strip club past midnight. If Alabama DA doesn't want to charge Miller, whatever. He delivered a gun in his car. Get out with this 'no idea what he was delivering' business.
edit: already reading some college basketball boards. Non public cliams in parenthesis, reported facts without quotes. (There is a claim that Bradon Miller used his car to block off a vehicle's escape) Miller's vehicle was shot. (Miller bought a new car this month, a Dodge Charger)

Miles told him to "bring his hat that was in the backseat of Miller's car" as far as I can tell, and the gun was in that hat. Looks like there is enough doubt there where it didn't warrant a charge.

Yes Miller's car was shot at twice, all of this was caught on tape
Bradley was there too in a separate car.

An officer with the Tuscaloosa Sheriff's Office testified that Alabama forward Brandon Miller brought the gun used in the fatal shooting of a 23-year-old woman in January.
According to AL.com's Carol Robinson, Detective Branden Culpepper said in court that former Alabama player Darius Miles texted Miller to get his gun and bring it to his location.

Well this says gun, not hat (with a gun inside)

The gun was in a hat in the backseat of Miller's car, Miles texted him to bring him the hat (not sure if he specifically mentioned gun too)...
Miller shows up, Miles tells Davis to go get the gun from the backseat of Miller's car and the dude starts spraying (Hitting Miller's car twice).
again, none of this is new info to police or Alabama. If there was enough to charge Miller he would've been charged.

Detective Culpepper says gun, you say hat. Provide a news article about the hat.
