He was at his best last year coming off the bench or starting at small forward. Off the bench, with Strus, Oladipo, and Vincent, he should be able to wreak his special brand of havoc and give us an energy advantage we haven't had all year.

Bingo. I see it the same way.

100%

These acquisitions filled two spots.

First, we got a starting forward.

Second, we got bench help.

If we fail, at least we did something to try to compete. Not the worst effort from the front office.

We really set ourselves up to fail and couldnt manufacture a real deal with our assets. I feel like this isnt a bad outcome given our self inflicted predicament.

On the Locked on Heat podcast they asked eachother if Love is now our best 3pt shooter. They both said no they think Herro and Robinson are better. I guess we'll see, recent history for Robinson has been rough and Herro was good before Harlem but now is in a bad rut.

Wouldnt be surprised if this is a reaction to Cody Zeller getting a NBA deal before him. Of course thats just a guess.

Completely different players though. When you want a role player for some tough defense off the bench, you dont add DMC.

EDIT- Can also be a reaction to Myers, especially since DMC played for MIL pretty recently.

Another player in the Michael Beasley territory never really put it together, always blamed everyone else. Had the wrong demeaner from day one, also had tons of skill for his size, would have been such an amazing player if he actually gave it all to basketball, and allowed himself to be coached.

let's not beat around the bush with it.....another dense-cap, a nit-wit, a knuckle-head.....an idiot.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

In theory, they are. Both Herro and Robinson are pure shooters, Love is a more all around player.

Speaking of Duncan...I haven't seen any Longshot Podcast in months. My man sucks and you can't even blame it on the podcast now.

Huge gap on the defensive side, Love doesn't bring the rim protection or toughness.

Can't shoot = not relevant to a Jimmy/Bam led team.

This apply to half the names we keep bringing up
