It's not even like he was playing that bad either. But if you're gonna tell me that javon cater, gabe Vincent, Garret temple and Jordan McLaughlin are better than wall was playing I'd say you're on crack.

Finally, Barton out, Goody in. Let’s get him some run. I know you all love Dunn, but I see no reason why he should play over Goodwin.

Agreed. I just refloated his on thread. His per 36 numbers are pretty solid:

12.6 pts on 45% FGs, 39% 3pt, 75% FT, 6.5 rebs, 2.0 steals, 1.0 block, 4.9 assists, 1.8 turnovers and 3.3 fouls.

He has a ORtg of 114 and DRtg of 111.

I did a fair amount of drugs when I was young. Plenty of coke that's for sure. I even tried heroin one time -- made it impossible to get my afternoon errands done I'll tell you that. But, I've never done crack. So you'll be wrong when you say that.

All the same, Jevon Carter is playing a ton better than John Wall. John is getting assists, but he can't get his shots to go in the bucket, & he's turning the ball over a whole lot.

John Wall needs to retire.

We don’t have a Dunn and Nunn has played very well with us. The battle for the 9th rotational spot is going to be fierce with even Q Jackson being the dark horse candidate to win it

Nunn- aggressive scorer
Goodwin- 2nd highest dawgs/48 on team after Wright
Q- best size of the bunch, most unknown quantity

I like Goodwin a lot, but let's not act like Nunn has been bad with the Wizards.

Nunn is averaging per 36: 23.3 pts on 49% FG, 40% 3pt, 90% FT, 5.8 rebs, 1.9 steals, 0 blocks, 7.2 assists, 3.4 turnovers, and 3.1 fouls.

He has an ORtg of 116 and a DRtg of 116.

(DRtg is a garbage stat that can be ignored for non-centers. Goodwin is probably a better defender, but don't use DRtg to make your case.)

I don't think it will be much of a battle. Wes is going to go with Nunn for 2 reasons. The first is that he needs offense at the position because we're talking about Beal's backup. And the second reason is that Nunn is a vet whom Wes will be more comfortable playing down the stretch.

Goodwin will probably only play if there are injuries or foul trouble, or a big blowout in the first half and Wes wants to shake things up.

We do have Kris Dunn, he plays for the GoGo. Has been playing well. I do wish NBA rosters and their G-League squads were even more fluid with the final few spots on the bench. But yeah I am curious how it shakes out in our guard rotation. We got 6 guards, all 6'5 and under. When all are healthy it looks like the order is:

Beal. Nunn. QJack.
Monte. Delon. Goodwin.

But it's mix and match for offense/defense between Delon and Dunn. We will see if Goodwin displaces Dunn now that he is official. I still think Dunn will earn minutes though since Delon and Goodwin's skill set overlaps, but we otherwise have no attacking guard behind Beal.

EDIT. Yeah nate. What you said.

Dunn signed a 10 day with the Jazz

Really glad to see Kris Dunn get another shot! Good for him!

Nunn has been a pleasant surprise. Goodwin has been a pleasant surprise. Maybe Jackson will be a pleasant surprise.

We're 17-10 in our last stretch. That too is a pleasant surprise! Yeah!

Like go 15-9 & end up with a 43 win season, like I always knew we would.

He doesn’t need offense at all. The wizards have a top 5 offense over the last couple of months. They actually need defense.
