There is confusion if he knew he was bringing the gun or not, apparently the gun was in a hat or bag and the text said bring the hat/bag (not bring the gun). Idk much about the relationship he had with the guy whose gun it was, was that guy a bad guy always? or was it a weird one off character thing for his friend.
For instance, if your best friend said bring a gun. I am sure there are plenty of people who would of done the exact same in fear for their friends life. It also wasn't even his friend that shot the girl, apparently his friend gave the gun to another person that did the shooting.
I feel like we need more details about the situation. Clearly the people who know the most - police/bama atheltics seem to think Miller should not be charged/punished.
Come on... he brought a loaded gun to his friend who was in a conflict with another group of people. At 1:40 a.m. in the morning. Then he and his other friend use their cars to block the road where the shooting occurred, causing Miller's car to get hit with multiple bullets. Then after seeing everything, did absolutely nothing, didn't alert anyone didn't go to the authorities, nothing. I find it incredibly hard to believe he didn't know what was up.
The police are doing nothing but cause they can't prove he broke a law. Alabama is doing nothing because they're covering their ass to protect their Athletics program. That part is not rocket science.

Yeah, I think you should probably read more into the topic.
1:40 am for a college student is not late. The bars are open to 2am or later majority of the time and it is common for them to be full until then.
2. Miller had a dash cam that has the shooting on video, so if he was playing a large part in trapping the victims I think charges would of been pressed. It is hard to know if he was just in the aisle of a tight parking lot therefore preventing enough room. Or if he purposefully parked the other car in and trapped them, I would need to see the video for that.
3. The two parties were shooting at each other. Davis took the gun from Miller backseat and opened fire on the other car. Then that car shot back at Davis. If Davis was next to Miller car then it getting shot in the altercation doesn't seem that wild to me.
4. The gun was already in Miller car because he dropped off Miles at the club a few hours ago. It is not like Miller went to Miles house, found the gun and loaded it. He was returning the gun to the person who left it in his car a few hours ago at an hour that they are probably out at semi-regularly. From what I have read it is likely Miller never even touched the gun at any point.
5. Miles called 911 to report the incident.
6. It is 2 am, dark and you have two parties shooting at each other inside of vehicles. Are we sure Miller even knew someone was shot? If you were shooting at the car even 25 yards away it would be difficult to see much. I doubt they walked over to the car that was just shooting at them to make sure everyone was okay.
7. Miller was not there when the incident started between the victims bf and the 2 guys charged. They were beefing earlier while Miller was not present. Are you saying Miller knew all the facts? That they were going to shoot at another person who also had a gun?
I can fully understand how a middle aged audience would find it shocking to be out this late instead of in bed, find it shocking that someone legally owns a gun and carried it with them, find it shocking that as a college athelte someone pressed them in public and threatened them. For most of us we are never going to be in this situation.
It would be interesting to hear 15 nba players weigh on the topic who probably have been around more situations like this.
I am not saying Miller made the best decisions, but I also don't know if he played a part in a murder from what I have read.
