Not sure what they are thinking. Kevon is a beast defensively. Huge plus on that end. Got to lock him up

Hopefully that is next now that RJ is waived.

I've been saying this since like December, we should keep Kevon around. He plays ferocious defense and has offensive potential. Problem is roster spots.

During some of the summer league behind-the-scenes videos it was pretty clear Admiral was almost acting like a coach on the court for those guys, giving them words of motivation and whatnot. I'm guessing this is a reward for his clubhouse work more than his on-court stuff.

Ah yeah.. he is our Amile Jefferson this year.

Really?

Wow, I'd have said, in a run-in to an off-season where we're going to be active, it's much more important to have players with a decent possibility of garnering league interest than roster fillers who play 100%.

In that sense, I find the move pretty underwhelming. Kevon Harris at least has something about him than smells of upside.

But realistically, I'd be looking for another Bol type reclamation project.

Who did you want to sign right now ? I think we will sign both Kevon and Admiral. Its perfect time to male some favors to players and agents. More players will want to come to us and stay like Bol. I also think Schofield impacts winning more than Bol but without all that hype. ( not that he is something more than a reserve)

I haven't gone over the list of FAs and waiver wire guys, but a player like Bolmaro (who has not been good so far in the NBA) would be a swing for the fences move, a la Bol. If he continues to be bad, what have you lost? A few months of Admiral Schofield?

Good move by the Magic and well deserved. I was not a fan of his early on but once he got some minutes he turned into a nice energy guy who could play big and hit the 3.
