Seems like Miller is innocent for the most part but I always lived by the motto, who you surround yourself with is who you are. Just cause were teamates doesn't mean we gotta be buddies lol.

fair enough... i'll concede that perhaps miller is less culpable than reports yesterday suggested. still probably enough to move him off my board for now considering several other equally talented options

I mean really anything is enough to make a guy slide a few spots. It is crazy how many tweets get leaked from when players were 12 years old 2 days before the NBA and NFL draft trying to show they are a bad person.

What do we make of the text to Miller?

The text message to Miller at 1:40am

"I need my joint a **** just got to fakin"
Joint aka gun

Does that change anyone's opinion on the situation?

Regardless, we don't need more players like him on the team. We already have an immature team as is.

Statement from Lawyer says that he was already on the way to the scene and wasn't aware the gun was there prior to arriving.

They also confirmed he never touched the gun, which to me makes charging him almost impossible.

Providence VS Uconn game was underwhelming. Devin Carter is better at home games.

Last notes from the OTE game. If you want to watch the final 3:20 seconds I would recommend it.

Here is Amen Thompson final 3:21 Game was 82-81 at this moment.
Draws foul- goes 1/2 from line. Push lead to 83-81
Same possession- they get rebound off miss and he assists a 3 pointer for Trey Parker. 86-81
2:41 left. Very next possession after a stop, Ausar drives and hits Amen for top of key 3. Amen burries it 89-81

Cold Hearts make a run game is 91-90 with 1:19 left.
He turns the ball over, gets back 1 vs 1 and contests the FB layup, forces misses. Grabs board 1 vs 3 and gets fouled.
Game is 94-92. Amen beats man off dribble attacks rim in HC and draws a shooting foul vs the big. Makes both FT to push 96-92
Steals ball with 26 seconds, goes behind back and flys by defender and dunks the ball to push lead 98-92

So 8 points in the final 3:20 in a game that was 1 possession.

Brandon Miller may have surpassed Scoot tonight. He said screw the adversity and dropped 41.

Yeah including forcing OT with a layup with 4 seconds to go in regulation.

Then in a tie game in OT he drove again and hit a gamewinner with less than a 1 second to go.

Alabama was flat as hell tonight. All that drama is killing them but that dude just balled out. Really, really impressive.

Brandin Podziemski is a very crafty player. Very smart and has great footwork and a knack for drawing contact.

I like him, young too. He has proper basketball instincts.

Also Tristan Vukcevic would be an interesting stash project with a late second. He's long, can shoot, is a good passer and has good anticipation.

Jordan Hawkins is a UConn sophomore SG (scary I know) who looks like a lights out shooter. Decent size at 6'5 and I really think the 2 guard is a position that would make sense for us to draft this year.

We should pick BPA of course but all the better if that happens to be a shooting guard.

Yeah I like Jordan Hawkins. Lights out shooter and is soo good at moving without the ball. It's kinda fun watching him run around like crazy to get open. Not that long ago mocks had him going somewhere around our DEN pick, but that's probably not happening at this point. I'd trade the DEN pick and our 2nd to move up for him though

I'm not sure exactly what happened, so I am just speaking in general and not to what Miller did or didn't do.

My hunch overall is he is a good kid, and although we might need him, doubt we need the possible negative news paper articles.

The kinda college kid who has a gun at school may not be the best fit all things considered

Why is that?

Because - College students are not allowed to have guns on campus as far as I know. Being a bBall player he likely lives in college owned housing. So that would be illegal to have on campus. We have already had one young guy arrested (bouk) with a gun and another for domestic violence this year. It may not be beneficial to add another guy with prior gun related questionable decision making to a young team with some serious behavior issues at this point. Were you being obtuse?
