We got some interest in Will the Thrill, I don't mind that. Anything to bolster our thin bench and help improve the anaemic scoring at times.

Who would be dropped for Will Barton if we sign him? Trez? Korkmaz?

Hopefully Trez, but I'm fine with dropping Kork.

Will would be a tremendous depth extension. Strengthens a scoring dimension we'll need in the playoffs and should be a seamless fit with Harden and Embiid.

That said, I'm sure he'll have plenty of other suitors.

Not likely to get cut because both have guaranteed money next year.

If we cut someone i think the more likely guy is Reed, part of why i think we shouldn't sign anyone else

Reed is getting to be more of a staple. See Daryl's podcast on the Ricky.

Yes, the fact that Daryl omitted Harrell from his center rotation makes me feel like he'll take the cap hit and cut him if it comes to it.

I can’t believe Morey gave Trez & House player options for next year. He should be ashamed of himself.

Yes, which is why i think we aren't signing anyone else and this is more PR talk.

I think Morey would probably like to cut Harrell if he could, but that decision likely needs Harris approval and seeing what we saw lately i don't think he's willing to approve taking that cap hit

Montrezz is literally making crumbs so that player option ain't hurting anything. Stanley Johnson is the true buyout candidate we should look at 6'6 big bodied smallfoward with some defensive chops and a clue on offense. 600 k I'd take a gamble for sure.

I like the idea of Stanley Johnson, but Will Barton also has some intrigue as well. I like his skillset and our goal clearly seems to be to just outscore the opposing team. Not sure how that will work in the playoffs, but adding Barton can't hurt. I'll absolutely settle for Stanley Johnson though. He's really the kind of player we need at the wing position. His problem has always been his shooting. He looked to be on the right path during his time with LA last year, but for whatever reason he didn't sign anywhere in the offseason until the Spurs picked him up.

I’d opt for Stanley over Barton. At least with Johnson, you can throw him at Jaylen Brown or Middleton in a playoff series. We have too many offensive options for Barton to make much of a difference.

Johnson’s defense has been trending consistently down over the years. His rep is wrong. If we had an open roster spot he would be worth a flier though.

Barton is the better player for sure but I’m also not going for him if the price is sacrificing Reed.

I’d be shocked if we waived anyone with future money before Reed so that’s why I hope we don’t sign anyone.

Will Barton is an upgrade over Milton, but there's not enough installation time. We might as well stick with Milton for now.

Kevin Love would have been perfect as back-up for Tucker

Nerlens Noel is available, Tony Bradley is available. But of course they had to pounce immediately on Dewayne Dedmon(who hasn't even played a game for the team yet because he's injured).

That's a GM who knows what he's doing!

Can we do an injury settlement with Dedmon and waive him for a roster spot?
