Giannis - Limited practice Wednesday, not expected to play.

Khris - practiced Wednesday, hopefully plays. Bud seemed somewhat surprised/concerned Khris missed the Chicago game. Most likely still on a minutes restriction.

Bobby - Back after a month out. Minutes restriction.

Crowder - Makes his Bucks debut. Minutes restriction.

Pat - Limited practice Wednesday, missed the Bulls game. Likely out.

Marques - Sundays game against the Suns is ABC only, doubt he's back for this one. Probably a Novak game.

12 game streak, we can certainly win this without Giannis. Let's keep it going.

Well that's a grim outlook on all fronts.

How did Wes get hurt? Will be fun to see Bobby and Jae in the lineup at least. Amazing how we haven’t had our entire team for a game yet this year.

Must win against the heat try hards.

This has potential jae revenge game possibilities although it is tampered by rust issues.

Meaningless posturing. He's not playing.

Wes is just getting the most load management they can do. Anything small and he sits or gets a DNP-CD.

They just want him healthy and not entirely rusty for rounds 2 and beyond in the playoffs. If he can give 15 or so minutes in those games at his normal intensity levels, that’s a perfect scenario.

He’s definitely beat up physically at his age from the miles, injury history, and that he always played a very physical style to offset not being an elite athlete compared to who he usually guarded.

Would really love it if they got him a ring.

I just realized we now have 2 of the 3 old school Marquette guys on the bucks, and next game all 3 will be there.

Wes and Crowder winning a title together in Milwaukee would be quite the story.

The Bucks coaching staff has to be doing an incredible amount of planning, given the number of games being missed by key players and the general uncertainty that seems to be present going into every game. The lack of stable availability has been astounding. The Bucks are not only shuffling players in and out of the lineup, but they seem to be constantly assimilating a player or two into the rotation. There always seems to be a player or two in pre-season mode, either getting re-acclimated to the rigors of full speed NBA basketball or getting acclimated to new team mates or both.

Khris, Ingles, Khris again, now Crowder.

All that matters is by playoffs all these guys are in tune with each other and clicking on all cylinders. The good news is guys like Khris/Ingles/Crowder have a decade or more of NBA experience. They should be able mesh with their teammates quickly.

Oh, I'm sure if they let him, he'd play tonight. Dude really is Herakles come to life.

So, am I the only one who thinks we still have a great chance to win tonight even without Giannis?

I'm surprised we're only favored by a point or two. 24-5 at home, and Miami is not a great road team. Oh, and there's the matter of a 12-game winning streak. Even without Giannis, I think the Bucks are likely to win, to the tune of about 120-104.

It shouldn't, but it's still bothering me that the Bucks seem to be getting disrespected and ignored, with all the late-season Eastern Conference talk around Boston and Philly.

Here's a thought experiment: imagine that the Bucks were sitting in first by a game and Boston had won 12 games in a row to loom boldly, as they say in horse racing. What do you think you would hear in the media that you're not hearing now?
