I'm having trouble believing that. Has anyone there heard anything from a team source?

I understand and agree with Seth in the rotation, and Royce plays big, but we would have no size after the starters except for Yuta and Sharpe. We would be compounding a current weakness. That would only make sense if Ben could worsen his physical problems.

ESPN lists him as day to day.

Maybe it's injury related? Maybe it's time to shut him down for the year?

Or maybe they're going all in on a push this year? Ben isn't giving much, and Seth probably at this point is offering a lot more with the second unit. They didn't trade him when they could have, so maybe this is more likely that they think they can make a little bit of noise down the stretch.

Others have come out and said Winfield is misinterpreting or misreporting Vaughn's comments. Cam and Ben are in the 10 man rotation. Sharpe and Yuta are not unless needed due to load management, injuries or foul trouble.

I don't know why Vaughn insists on using Curry over Ben or Sumner at PG.

I mean, goes to show that at least the coaches are seeing what a lot of fans here aren't: Ben sucks, and provides negative value on the court. Has been arguably the worst player in the league.

He's unplayable.

Because Seth Curry is MUCH better than Ben.

Thanks!

Regarding Curry, I expect he will not be used "over" Ben. With our recent loss of firepower, Seth is our best bench player for providing reliable and clutch offense, IMO. I think both will be used based on the need at the time -- Ben maybe slightly more because of our need for size. Sumner is a nice player with better defense than Curry and offense than Ben. I'll leave his use up to JV, but I believe the first two offer better options in each situation. There will likely be a need for him, but there is too much uncertainty right now to determine how much. I see Royce as our best sixth man, since he can come in for almost anyone.

Winfield is not a credible journalist, he's a Kyrie mouthpiece that is sad that his access to the team got shipped down south. He's literally making up stuff for clicks on his poorly written article.

It's a wrap for us. I find zero reason to watch or support this team after last night.

Very understandable. No1 wants to watch a **** like last night. players like clax jeopardize their future contracts if that's the way they keep playing

Everything fell apart when Marks traded James Harden. Even a past prime Harden, this has got to be one the worst trades of all time. With Simmons out of the rotation, this has essentially been a James Harden for Seth Curry swap.

We really broke up the team because of a petty owner?

Basically a battle of two 2 egomaniacs in Kyrie and Joe Tsai.

Kyrie was willing to stay despite hating Joe Tsai. Once they weren’t willing to negotiate in good faith he asked out. This is on Tsai

so revisiting the rotation with noel signed and the team playing better with a tight bench.

seems like JV is committed to keeping DFS in the starting lineup, which is whatever, but ok.

my 4 off the bench until Simmons is back would be:

Curry
Cam T
Royce
Noel

Sharpe/Harris out of the rotation.

At this point who knows when Simmons is healthy but whenever it is, it's likely off the bench so i guess re-evaluate how those 4 are doing off the bench then.
