Spo making it seem like we just picked up Ja Morant off buyout market. Cmon son!

"Bouyea is now free to be signed by any NBA team.". I guess signing him to a 2-way contract would stop this.Who do we have on 2-ways, Cain I remember but who is the other?

He can be signed to a 2nd 10 day contact and then they could decide what to do.

So we’re done acting like Kevin love acquisition was apart of some foreseen master plan? Good, cause I was already tired of that lie.

More likely is 6th seed.

And staying at 7th and going to the play-in shouldn't shock anyone.

We waited too long to get our act together, there's zero room for errors left.

If you think we'll suddenly see great and consistent health, chemistry, great coaching and all important players stepping up - You're one optimistic modherfuoker.

so yea...chit team remains chit..big surprise.

Missing the playoffs and picking in the lottery looks more appealing with each game

Yesterday's game was kind of embarrassing. It shows how far we are from the top teams.

We should just enjoy watching basketball right now. This core is going nowhere.

The Cavs got their culos blasted by the Hawks yesterday. We’ve beaten that same Bucks team twice w/o Giannis, they paid it back yesterday. Back away from the ledge

We were on of the two team to be incapable of breaking the 100 point mark. Out of what 16 teams, after being fully rested we couldn’t break to most basic of metric needed in todays NBA. Instead of having the fortitude to fight back when we got down Butler played just 21 mins and called it a night.

The Bucs without Giannis are not the Bucs.

I'm sure they wanted to give a lesson on what their team is capable of doing.

Still watching, cheering, but being realistic about our chances.

They dont play any defense in sacramento. Honestly the worst brand of basketball in the nba. The NBA in general is pretty bad defensively but OKC, Sacramento and Portland take it to another level of bad.

Really not liking what the NBA has become. Game totals shifted from 200 to 235 in a matter of a few years.

Gabe and Strus are playing there way to nothing more then 4-6 million a year contracts and that's being generous. Heat need to overhaul it's PG situation. Gabe is an ok player but the team really needs some real PG play and needs to start developing a true young drafted option. Hoping we have a chance at drafting Cason Wallace.

Strus is 32% from 3 the last three months. Hopefully we just let him walk, guys like that are a dime a dozen

If Nikola Jovic is healthy the team needs to fully pull the plug at any variation of Caleb Martin at the 4 and start developing this kid during the stretch run at backup PF. No reason Duncan Robinson should even be touching the floor and it's become absolutely comical the continued mention of needing to improve Duncan's value. Every time that dude touches the floor it looks like he has cement boots on defense and his shot is no longer there no matter how hard he tries. Team should just stretch provision his contract as this point cause it's embarrassing even having him on the roster as a constant reminder of how dumb it was to give him that contract. Nobody and I mean nobody in the NBA is bailing us out on that one unless numerous picks are involved. Duncan belongs on a Shanghai roster or selling Allstate insurance.

C Bam Adebayo C Cody Zeller
PF Kevin Love PF Nikola Jovic
SF Jimmy Butler SF Caleb Martin
SG Tyler Herro SG Victor Oladipo
PG Kyle Lowry PG Gabe Vincent

This should be our 10 man rotation going into the final stretch sink or swim. Strus and Robinson have earned themselves tickets into permanent purgatory IMO

I definitely think we need to consider what is and is not a good deal for Miami with guys like Vincent and Strus. Vincent has had his moments this year, but paying him more than decent backup point guard numbers just isn't worth it. Strus we can let go. Probably should let go. I would like to keep Dipo but only if he opts in or will take a contract with similar money. Otherwise, why bother?

I would like to see this team try and get back to what we were doing last year. Get Love knocking down that corner three, move Herro back to the bench, and give ourselves an actual advantage coming off the bench with a group that includes Martin, Herro, Strus, and Zeller. Start Dipo next to Gabe until Lowry gets back, then move Vincent back to the bench as well. Last year, we were able to do what we did because we could keep the pressure on you from start to finish. Now, we lack balance. Herro really needs to be cast in that Manu Ginobili role...

Not a bad idea in jest but the team at this point is dug in with Herro starting and the contract makes it so that he needs to be starting. I won't doubt that Herro will probably be put in many trades this summer to try and overhaul the backcourt.

They were never worth more than that. Not to say that we wouldn't have paid them more because we've developed a track record with that sort of player, but they are both easily replaceable guys and that should be the only consideration when determining what we should be willing to pay them.

Looking at their %s and considering their minimal impact over an 82 game season, there is no reason they should get more than the minimum, especially Strus who is not an elite shooter and does little else to impact winning. There are minimum guys doing more for their teams than these 2.

theyre on the same level as caleb and even robinson and are probably seeking that kind of money. We set a bad precedent with our mismanagement of the cap. Overpaying average players.

Vincent and Strus can both leave to new teams and i wont even notice theyre gone. Decent roleplayers but we seem to find their type every summer.
