It’s picking up steam. Kyrie for AD might not move the needle much for LA but it would make Labron happy. Also I disagree that it would move the needle much for them.

AD is the player that does not appear so often, acquiring him will be a huge boost to DAL, he is just the combination of the strength of Wood+Powell+Maxi without 3 ball. He is perfect fit as that 1B player with another 1A player (e.g. Luka) in a championship level team.

Seems to me that kidd forgot that we have Morris in a trade can we play the guy to see what he has to offer to the Mavs or buy his contract? Or mavs are waiting for maxi comeback?

The Mavs are definitely waiting for Maxi to come back. I’m also not sure what kind of shape Morris is in yet. He mentioned he was out of shape from not playing in Brooklyn. Nets fans said he was washed though, so maybe that’s it?

Morris is out of game shape. Close to zero training and zero diet control after being out of the BKN rotation for so long. You and me could probably out run him in a sprint right now. He needs to work his body back to NBA game level.

Leave him training for 1 month and then make a decision... He is not so old.

Guys DFS is so bad without Luka... OMG.

Maybe it's because the new team and new teammates. I don't know.

6 pgg 5rbs 30% FG and 20% from 3. Yeah, it's less than ideal. No clue how his defense actually is but their record is 2-3.

Could just be a slump but it's much harder to score when Luka is not feeding you all those open looks.

He was just as hit and miss with us. 3, 4 awful games then 1 or 2 to push up his averages.

That’s really the problem, he doesn’t have a competent PG to feed him the ball. He’s a 3-D guy that doesn’t handle the ball very well. To be successful he needs a good PG.

But the Nets were offerred 2 first rounders for him(according to some reporting)...i mean ,i doubt ,but even just one would be enough....he's good Player on a Nice contract, but he needs to be surounded by a superstar or all star players

I doubt too, Dallas shopped him for 1 months searching 1FRP and nothing happened... On this way at the end of the season a couple of SRPs could be enough for him.

They should have taken that offer.

Maybe it is time to buy low this summer to bring DFS back. He would be a good fit around Luka and Kyrie. Not sure if Nets would be interested in THJ on a friendly contract or Bertans+2nd as an expiring.

Ideally you get another big power forward as that's the missing piece. DFS at PF is still undersized but if the price is right, it should be okay.

There are a lot of players outside DFS in NBA.

Not many are proven to fit with Luka, on a friendly contract, and hitting a wall so you might be able to buy low.

Yes this a point of view... Another one could be:

- proven fit with Luka = i see very few players don't fit with Luka.

- friendly contract = 15M/y for a carerr 8+5 guy. Ouch.

-hitting a wall = no Luka no party

I like him and for cheap he is good but man, NBA is full of role players.
