"Saka cut up Souttar and brought him down" is a level of analysis beyond reality genuinely. That is not remotely close to what happened. My point is how dare VAR bring out a magnifying glass to spot a light hold a whole phase before our goal to rule it out and then ignore Souttar's peak Maguireness just bundling over and then hugging onto saka for dear life to track his run. It's insane how they pick and choose when to intervene. I'm fine ruling that goal out , buy they've then set the level of scrutiny they'll use VAR for in that match. So lets watch Souttar
He trips over his own feet clearly trying to plant his right leg , stumbles over and just bulldozes Saka down , they had Mr Dermot Gallagher that backs every decision a ref makes saying how on earth wasn't this a pen.How can anyone watch this and say "it's a foul by saka" with a straight face. But hey Var wants to rule out goals from a defender tickling a keeper's arm on a set piece from a previous phase a play.
Also why stop at the Manchester clubs? Spurs , Newcastle , Brentford , and Brighton have been better than Arsenal too darn it. We're just lucky to be here!
No one has more points
1 team has conceded less goals(Newcastle)
1 team has scored more goals (City)
1 team has a better GD(City)
Arsenal have been by far and away the best team when you look at the Away table , not 1 team in the league is close
City and Arsenal have far better underlying numbers then the rest of the pack.
Our top scorer from last year has just rejoined the squad and our best player pre world cup is about to return as well. It'll be a much needed boost for the run in and will go a long way to solving the issues we have solving these compact and packed defences. Rodgers tried to go toe to toe with United at Old trafford last week leaving loads of space behind and granted he didn't have Maddison this week he played extremely cautious and like all teams we've faced recently packed the box and the edge of the area at home.
