Some big games tomorrow like
#2 Alabama vs. Arkansas
#8 Texas @ #9 Baylor
#5 Purdue vs #17 Indiana
Looking forward to seeing TJD bang down low with Edey.

How does Sasser compare to Max Abmas?

I’ve been monitoring him for a bit. High end 2nd round player. He looks like a 10 year NBA player.
I really like him. I consider him a JHS sort of a bigger guard, except he's 4 yrs older, 2 inches shorter and has better numbers. He's a steadying guy and he's playing good teams like Indiana, Illinois, Michigan and he's equal to outplaying those guards. IF we can't get a big guard I would call him right away from the undrafted.

Seems like things finally clicked in his 5th year and those are some insane numbers! He's been beasting since the Christmas Break!
He could be Desmond Bane 2.0 if it isn't just a hot 2 months.
Charlotte should draft him with the #29 pick from Denver.
For undrafted players to try and take Flynn's spot, Isaiah Wong and Souley Boum are my choices.

He's a first round talent. I'll be surprised if he doesn't climb into the 20s. High volume and good efficiency in the paint. High volume long 2s on decent efficiency. Incredible rebounder for his size.

I love his stats, only worry about the competition. It's great to see his progression too, from not playing at all as a freshman in the big 10 to dominating in year 2 albeit in a weaker conference.
I would easily take him over the Thompson twins, Nick Smith, and many other highly ranked guys.

Ya, I'm weary of him transferring from a tougher conference to a weaker one. Some do it to get more PT but maybe this season is a fluke and he's able to get his shot off against weaker competition.

Seems to be of below average athleticism and a SG of 6'5 may need to prove himself in the GLeague.

He still gets some blocks, a lot of steals, and a lot of offensive rebounds. His athleticism is probably underrated, and it's not like he's playing in the MAC, the WCC is the best non major conference. He fits my statistical model as someone that rarely busts, often well outperforms his draft stock, and he has a lot of upside too.

Having a better year at a younger age than Jalen Williams, who went late lotto and has translated decently.

Cason has really been struggling lately, 3 of his last 4 games have been duds, I wonder if he's going to be available when we pick

Gradey looks like he's our pick if we stay in this late lottery range. Otherwise I guess Hendricks as another option. Great shooter and averages 2 blocks and a steal a game. Would be a great draft to get multiple picks in the teens to take fliers on guys who have great potential upsides.

Those numbers and his size might actually make him our primary target. Imagine an all tall lineup of Scottie, Hendricks, OG, Pascal and Poeltl (or Koloko if he gets bigger for next year). Insane defensively and Hendricks and OG can space the floor.
The fact that theres only been 2 games all season he hasn't made at least 1 3PT and the fact that he's currently averaging
15 ppg
6.6 rpg
1.5 apg
1.8 bpg
0.9 stl
On 47/41/80 (59TS%) as a FRESHMAN. This dude is being mocked far too low in these drafts, he looks like the realized version of Jonathan Issac

Two things, Nick Smith Jr reminds me of Brandon Jennings. Also, his body language is atrocious. At the end of the game against Alabama Ricky Council brought the ball up with 7 seconds left. Nick Smith made no effort to get himself open and hovered with the defender on him at half court. So Council shot the attempt, and as he did Smith throws his hands up in the air as if to say WTF, then the shot misses and clock runs out. Smith then proceeds to throw his hands up in disgust again. I don’t want that scrub anywhere near this roster.

He's not a Masai type of player, don't worry. Dude had the ugliest 2nd half of a game I've seen in a while and completely threw Arkansas' chance of beating #2 Alabama.

Highlight vids are gonna be like "Nick Smith Jr. drops 24 on #2 country in the nation!"
Dude shot 39% on 23 FGA and had 1 assist. Is his injury only allowing him to shoot the ball and not pass it?

When you first said Jennings I thought - maybe. Nick Smith is 4 inches taller though. Smith isn't as explosive or as good an athlete but his game is more rounded where he can score at three levels with ease. Still I can see the comparison remember that young Jennings was a walking bucket and had some massive scoring games.
In terms of personality - hmmm. Smith does seem a bit like a ball hog prick. So that doesn't surprise me. It's also why I connected him with Irving, that kind of rub people the wrong way personality. Still have to give complete context here. With 10 seconds to go Smith Jr. hit a nice step back 3 to get within 2 pts of Bama. What Council did was definitely not the proper play. No way in hell that was drawn up. Most likely it was for Smith Jr. to get the ball and he did hero ball. I am glad he was mad, I would be. It shows a fire to win and take the big shot.

Marcus wouldn't have shot 1-13 from the field against Houston if he were on Oral Roberts.

Gradey Dick getting hot from deep, 4-7 on the day now. Nabbed 2 steals in the first half of the 2nd half.
