He’s been doing that introduction all season from what I’ve seen

He should probably stop doing that now though because it is pretty tone deaf, and according to the coach they won’t be doing it anymore this season

Yeah they’ve been doing it all year but definitely need to stop now. The program already released a statement apologizing and vowing to stop that.
The kid is innocent but they have been doing a terrible job “messaging” the last few days.
The media has been railroading them though, Bilas had a great segment defending them yesterday though

Bball wise, as I’ve said, B Mill can step in and help a competing team tomo more so than any prospect in this class. You switch him and Dillon Brooks out and the Grizz are dangerous

what he does for the introduction can be very well interpreted that way. at least he is giving people a legit excuse to think that he thinks it is funny.

If that was truly done all season long then I stand corrected but without context that looks bad.

I know you Grizz fans have a love/hate relationship with DBrooks, but be serious now. With the assignments Dillon gets on defense, Miller would be getting…. barbecued. No doubt the offense could be more efficient, but that’s not a high bar.

It is pretty bad Clyde…you have to admit. I’m with you that he did nothing wrong but we have to be real about this.

The actions of this guy directly led to the murder of a young mother and a child having to grow up without a mother. And don't come with the bull excuse that he didn't know what he was doing. He knew exactly what was gonna happen and he let it happen. And the pre game routine shows that he doesn't even have a glimpse of remorse about this.

Even if legally nothing can be done, this guy is absolute scum of the earth and it's a disgrace that teams and the league will value money and success over ethics. And anyone defending this is just equally disgusting

But hey, maybe I'm just a stupid european who holds human life in high regard which obviously isn't the case in the US. Maybe I should just get off my high horse

You keep repeating that yet there's absolutely no way of knowing that with any kind of certainty. You just assume based on what limited information and what you want to believe. Calling a teenager ‘scum of the earth’ and claiming that he deliberately ‘let a murder happen’ without knowing all the details of what happened isn't exactly proper behavior either. It might even be libelous.

Now, the pre-game ritual was at best absolutely tone-deaf and at worst disgusting behavior. I won't claim to know which one it is but someone better let them hear about it. As for the murder, I will wait for more information and let any investigation take its course before I make any kind of definite judgement about a player I don't know in a situation where I lack sufficient information.

"I need my joint [gun] a n****r rl jus got a fakin"

You get this text message at 1:30 am in the night what you think he thought his friend was gonna do? And don't tell me he didn't know that he had a gun in his own car, like come one.

Have you even bothered to follow the case past the first report, or was that not necessary since your mind was made up?

The lawyer issued a public statement in which he claimed that “Brandon never saw the handgun nor handled it. [...] Before Brandon arrived to pick up Mr. Miles, Mr. Miles and the individual with Ms. Harris apparently exchanged words. Without Brandon knowing of any of this context, and as Brandon was already on the way to pick up Mr. Miles, Mr. Miles texted Brandon and asked him to bring him his firearm. [...] Brandon never touched the gun, was not involved in its exchange to Mr. Davis in any way, and never knew that illegal activity involving the gun would occur. [...] Moreover, he had no knowledge of any intent to use any weapon.”

Now, I don't expect anyone to believe that either. It's his personal lawyer after all. This could all be based on plausible deniability and Miller did know or at least suspect that the gun would be used (at least as a threat). We don't know that and can't rule it out. But I doubt that the lawyer outright lied in an official statement if the evidence was clear that Miller read the text and responded to it.

So while you, and anyone else, has the right to remain skeptical – let's refrain from pretending to know for sure that Miller knew someone was about to be murdered and he happily delivered the gun (which is the sentiment you expressed). That's just your guess based on incomplete information.
