Yes it was. Sorry you had to watch that. Hopefully you had fun nonetheless.

Certainly the last two weeks have shown this is clearly not a playoff team this year.

You know that Cliff wants it.

We have that going for us

Hopefully they sign Dwayne Bacon for the rest of the season and he leads them to infinite meaningless wins.

Horrific game. Good news is it’s a pretty big outlier. Highly doubt we’ll see FG% like these very often:
WCJ - 9.1% (1-11)
Gary - 12.5% (1-8)
Cole - 28.6% (2-7)
Suggs - 33.3% (4-12)
Fultz - 42.9% (6-14)
Abra Cadabra, Razzmatazz, Slam-Dunk Sesame, Hocus Pocus, Alacazam, Gonna set the spirit free

Worse watching it on TV IMO. At least you had the atmosphere and the in-person entertainment with everything going on. I actually hate going to games as I get more distracted and I miss all of the camera angles. Hope you had a great time though. Tickets (and parking and food) aren't cheap

For two months now the Magic have been playing .500 basketball, last 8 games have alternated Ws and Ls back and forth. Just cant get ahead.

Lot of replacing needing to go on to compete seriously. Backup bigs need a complete overhaul, starting guards will have to be shuffled/replaced but we're in a weird spot with draft picks and FA. I'm kinda annoyed Suggs is so good on defense yet still can't run an offense well or look comfortable dribbling. Him being a little further along would help a lot.

He has definitely bounced back nicely after the All-Star break like we had hoped.

I think having Isaac in the starting lineup next year with a shooter would be such a good lineup with Franz + Paolo + whoever else. I don't know how he'd fare full time against big centers but there's not THAT many bruising guys like Embiid or Jokic.

Fultz just totally lost today. Missed layups and bad mid range jumpers. Hope he can bounce back next game on the road

Oh no. 0% chance.

6.5 games apart with 21 games. It's not like the Magic are gonna go on a 20 game losing streak

I agree. JI is a total X Factor. But if we do play him 30+ minutes, which position should we play him? Paolo is 4. Franz is 3. So we play Paolo at 5 and JI at 4? Or JI at 5? Paolo and Franz are going to start (Hopefully). If we do play JI big minutes, which position should we play him?

Revamping the backcourt and starting Isaac is a great plan.

That’s the problem with Fultz. If he isn’t doing either of those things exceedingly well, then its not worth him being on the court whatsoever.

JI now imo is best suited for 4/5 but has usually played 3/4 so we'll see. I also don't mind Franz playing 2/3 since I think he can stay with a good number of SGs and Paolo doesn't always play like a 4.

I'd put it at a 3% chance right now

They play us and Detroit over their next 3.
