Just as the Spo hate continues:
- 21st on the all time winning list
- 0.590 winning percentage
- 5 x Conference Finals
- 2 x Championships
- HOF Coaches above him on win list with a higher winning percentage - Jerry Sloan, Pat Riley, Phil Jackson, Red Auerbach
Non-HOF Coaches above him on win list with a higher winning percentage - Gregg Popovich, Doc Rivers.

HOF Coaches below him with a close resume - Chuck Daly, Rudy Tomjanovich
Non-HOF Coaches below him with a close resume - K.C. Jones, Steve Kerr

Unless you are getting Steve Kerr, I just don't think there are better guys out there.

And if you look at those guys above - Pop had Duncan for 20 years. Phil Jackson had MJ, Pippen, Shaq, Kobe. Sloan had 20 years of Stockton and Malone, Auerbach had the dominant Celtics for forever, Riley had the Showtime Lakers for a long time, Kerr has Had Curry, Klay and Draymond throughout. Rudy had Olajuwon, Chuck had the Bad boys for a very long time.

Spo has had some good teams but has gone through a few reinventions that have brought his winning % down.

I really think Spo is the least of our problems - he may even be a victim of his success because guys that maybe have little business being rotation players elsewhere get turned into contributors for a time before getting figured out by other teams

Yea this dude's got a job for life. It's all about whether he goes up to the FO full time.

It's infuriating to me that the Knicks are ahead of us in the standings. It's not even about the hatred that I still have for that franchise, 20+ years later. What it is about is the fact that a franchise as crappy as the Knicks who are at the bottom of the league year in and year out for 2 decades is above us in the standings. It's simply unacceptable.

Times change. Did you really think a team with a history like the Knicks would never coompete again? LOL

I think a team that was 1 shot away from a possible finals appearance should absolutely be above the Knicks, yes. Also, if It doesn't bother you that a team with a history like the Knicks has made moves to get better, and we continue to make sign bad contracts or generally make poor decisions year after year with the exception of Butler...then I can't help you.

Im ok with keeping Spo, but at this point it's a fireable offense from anyone in charge to not hire a competent offensive minded assistant head coach. Let that person run the offense. Sure it cost real money instead of getting the Chris Quins of the world but for a franchise thats suppose to be about winning, its criminal we cant do the most basic of things right. It all comes down to a lack of accountability from the top to the bottom.

Wake me up when the Knicks win something  or do they now give out trophies for being ahead of the Miami Heat in the standings

You'll be sleeping a long time, much like if you were waiting for the Heat to win something also.

Does what apply to us? Am I fan of another team on another board asking why the Miami Heat are ahead of us in the standings?

We have no reason or right to be shocked, looking at the roster with objective eyes it's easy to see we have 2 great player, 1 inconsistent good player -

and nothing much around them. Everyone else on the roster can fairly be described as "below average player"

Why should the team be so great when that's your roster? we overachieved big time last season, this season is a much more accurate picture of the talent level on the roster

Not sure I would classify Lowry as inconsistent good player. But I never liked him so there's that

We've won the East 6 times and won 3 championship trophies since 2006. Believe this or not, that makes us one of the best franchises in the association during that time. It appears though that if we don't win the whole thing every year we need to fire everyone...

Jimmy and Bam = great players

Herro - Good inconsistent player

Lowry - Below average player (I'm biting my tongue not to use harsher words).

Dame Jimmy Bam big 3 with actual nba talent surrounding them is winning the championship.

If dame comes available Pat Riley is 10000000% throwing his hat in that race

As Barry also says he’d be shocked to see Bam involved in any trade talks this summer but doesn’t say the same about Jimmy. I think we keep both and look for a 3rd star. Embiid wants out send 4 1sts Jovic and Herro, there’s your KD deal for Embiid

Still very early, Love has a negative net rating next to each player in the starting lineup. He’s a bench piece
