hawks dead last in 3pt frequency, which aligns with comments that he doesnt care about analytics, funnels offense to mid range
if true, thats an immediate nope for me
although, cliff not much better in that regard, 24th (12th last year under jb)

funny enough. bronny probably a decent fit next to melo and i could see us drafting in his range next year (he's currently ranked 10th)

He's ranked 10th by ESPN narrative builders.

If his name is Bronny Daniels or something, he's a 4 year player hoping to get drafted.

his player profile sounds like a jalen suggs, davion type

mj hires LeGM to run the team and minority ownership, after lebron signs for us on vet min to play season with bronny. what could go wrong?

I figured Charlotte wouldn't be below the cap anyway considering their desire to re-sign Bridges, Oubre and work out a deal with PJ either on a long term basis in Charlotte or part of a sign and trade. Keeping Gordon basically guarantees all that. Which means the team will have all their exceptions to play with, not that Kupchak will actually use them.

Greensboro will look a lot different next season, but the big club, excepting the lotto pick, will pretty much stay status quo.

Operating as a cap space team is a bad move in todays NBA.

Over the cap, using exceptions, bird rights and the occasional sign and trade is a much better way to operate.

I enjoy listening to Clifford talk basketball. His ability to adapt in-game and develop players isn't quite good enough, but his grasp of the big picture and the game in general is impressive. If we end up finding a new head coach it would be remiss of this organization to not offer him a role in the front office. I think he'd be a good replacement for Kupchak when he retires.

Clifford is from the Van Gundy tree where he talks and talks while not saying much of anything but says it in such a way that media feel respected and he gets overvalued by them. I don't see him being involved with anything team related once he's fired from here. If anything, he will get hired as a part time analyst with ESPN where he can spout his tired cliches.

He did said this nonsense where he essentially accepts no blame for the team's play his first time here and is doing it again. It's just exhausting to hear him say how untalented his team is and how he has no options when he plays the exact same way every game without fail and never really deviates from his rotation unless injuries force him to. As an example, Cliff complained that he doesn't know how to add more playmaking to the rotation after the loss last night. Why is he crying about the lack of playmaking when we have another point guard on the roster, who plays pretty well with centers, but Maledon is stuck in Greensboro. He complains that the offense will be a guarantee to struggle with LaMelo out but will we try out Bryce or Bouk as a volume scorer? Both were that in college, may as well try now that the season is completely off the rails.
