No it makes me happy that Khris is mentioned among these legends :)

Also team receding is OP as ****, I like Mids better with this team than Drexler because of the spacing Khris will provide.

Gus Williams should be running the point for receding. Bring Manu off the bench and start World

The balding process takes a while, not something that just happens in a year or two. In Lebron’s case he’s clearly had some hair transplants or something, because i’m pretty sure he’d be close to completely bald by now if not.

Gus is a good choice. However, I loved World B Free but whether you start him or Manu, Manu needs to get the starting minutes and close games. He's just the better player by far.

Can anyone think of a player who could play on all 3 teams? Someone who had long hair, then receding, then went full bald? Best I can come up with is Kareem who had a decent afro when he was Lew Alcindor.

I had considered that for many it was a matter of timing, and where one draws the lines several could play on a couple, that Jabbar - if long counts - could be viable for 3.

Manu for 3?
Smits for long(?) and bald ('98).
Obviously the receding was the impetus for Jordan's bald look.

Nash .... otoh had cropped hair at times ... Looking at '07 offseason it's a pretty close cut and one that shows that the ... above the temple or side-forehead (more than center) are going ... cf: https://www.brightsideofthesun.com/2009/12/9/1193803/steve-nash-the-samson-of-his-time
Nowitzki ... less dramatic but had had cropped looks and has the same ... start of a hair archipelago thing, where the sides recede. But reaching a bit here.

If mini-fros count is this enough for Granville Waiters (RIP).

Though perhaps not the 3 because the receding process had already happened by the time he was in the public eye.

That doesn't look long (I though Kareem/Lew was a bit short on his afro for long hair, but better). That and Granville Waiters and All-time team are a tough mental correlation.

As stated it depends
I imagine[d] that a Waiters mention would go without saying that it was with regard to players viable at 3 levels (and notable for hair/a notable hairline) rather than all-time great. My reading of "a player" in this context made me think this was what you were angling at.

If it's circa "among top 50 players" I think Manu is (pretty comfortably) your best bet (if one has him top 50), then either Nash (if '07 offseason counts for bald, even if he didn't really play with it that short) or Kareem (if you don't and you're happy calling Milwaukee era hair long).

Barry was never visibly receded enough to say actually bald.
Drexler ... you'd have to go to high school to easily find pictures that could be called long.

No worries, it was just a bit of snark at Granville Waiters getting into this discussion.
