I went White and Al. I love how Derrick's kept the scoring aggression with Smart back and his minutes reduced. Just unfair to other benches to have him/Brogdon come in. Sixers have Maxey which is normally a nice advantage, but just kinda cute against us.

I really don't know what to think of the starters that game, lol. Got kinda killed in +/- other than Rob. JB was doing his tough shotmaking thing and keeping us in it. Tatum poo most of it scoring wise, then came up big, but did his standard D/reb/assists things the whole night. Al seemed like he was going to foul out to me, but every time they called a foul it was like his 2nd somehow.... Rob still doesn't look his dominant self but was sneakily super effective this game regardless. Smart was doing Smart things but not in huge quantities and White/Brog were playing so well that Joe balanced the minutes nicely.

I would like it if we played Philly in every game. It's just so fun beating them.

But if I'm being honest I think they are at least a little more of a problem now than in the past. Their roster and defense have improved. And Joel has improved. Usually he comes out like gangbusters against us but then remembers he's not going to win and hangs his head and fades away by halftime. Last night he didn't really start doing that until the last few minutes of the game haha. And even then he played pretty well.

But still, bring these guys on as much as possible imo. It's just so fun beating them.

Jaylen went 5-8 in the 4th, a few tough shots and really took advantage of how slow the Sixers are. The MJ shot was fun too, was eerily similar lol.

Tatum had 14 potential assists yesterday, is up to 10.5 a game over the last 15.

I’ll admit to being sick and falling asleep during the game but that’s the one thing about Tatum. Yes, he’s struggled shooting more than you’d like against better teams, especially of late. However, he still has massive on ball gravity and he’s cognizant enough to know when he can impact the game elsewhere.

I want to see him drop 40 every game, too but he’s proven so often he can still help close wins even if he isn’t on a tear.

Refs allowed sixers to grab , hold and foul us in the second wtr with no call. But in the nba the aggressive team gets the calls

Good win.

Went with White and Brown for VC. Honorable mention for Al for that 3rd quarter that kept us in the game and brought us back. Rob gets some props too.

Mike Breen is a better Knicks announcer than ESPN announcer and Clyde is somehow less biased than Mark Jackson.

Cs have owned the Sixers reg season and playoffs since Embiid and Smart were drafted (23-11 in RS, two series wins).

Not really comparable.

That one Playoff series was a bit important.

Regular season means little,
but yes the Celts are more dominant against the 76s,
than the Warriors are against Boston,
but they are still the Cs most difficult matchup.

Not enough for the Cs to call Dubs their daddy. Meme connotation is they’ve been owned repeatedly for a long period of time. Which is not the case.

I've watched the final play a dozen times now and still am not sure how Marcus threaded the needle AND Tatum made the catch (never mind the shot)! Phenomenal!

I reckon there were three or four where I thought 'no foul' then watched the replay and had to admit to myself it was there.

Very hard to guard such a big, skillful force with modern NBA rules.

The head-scratcher for me was the one called on Smart where he was standing in defensive position at the foul line, hands out. Embiid lowered his head and pushed a bit, then pushed again, right in Smarts chest and he got called for...well...something. I'm not sure what he is supposed to have fouled him with.
