Wow Brandin Podziemski looks impressive, he should be a huge riser up draft boards if he keeps it up.
On the other hand, not getting the Jalen Hood-Schifino hype that's been building in this thread at all. He's gonna be a bust like Nick Smith and GG Jackson.

All this B Miller talk when were picking 12-15 lol.
I dont really like any of the point guards other than Scoot. Lots of inefficient small scorers with poor assist and TO numbers. Id rather draft some size with shooting (Dick, Hendricks, Howard) or a combo guard like George or Hawkins. Smith Jr looks like a 6th man. I dont see him leading an offense and his defense is sus

I will say though that Sasser has way better numbers than the point guards being mocked ahead of him. He is older though which will bring him down a peg. Wouldn't take him in the lottery for that reason. He'd be a nice pickup in the early second round if we had a pick
JHS is horribly inefficient most nights and isn't a gifted passer. Wallace looks like Pat Bev (maybe in another system he can show more)

No way Raps pick 1 or 2.
With the possibility of an OG trade, you never know what pick could be in play. Indiana, NO, Portland have all been linked to OG and will have lottery picks. All those teams are looking to win sooner than later too.

Do not draft.
I can't recall a more ****ed up thing that a top prospect has done in recent memory.
What is ****ed up about picking up a teammate?
You are spreading misinformation and spinning a very false narrative.
I can’t blame you. The initial reporting implied a different situation. But as more facts have come out, it’s time to acknowledge he did nothing wrong.
I'm referring to the pre-game intro that he chose to continue. He was involved, indirectly, and chose to make light of the situation. That's messed up and I wouldn't draft him for an extreme lack of judgement. He can figure out his life on someone else's team, but that's a giant red flag.
Miller, who has done the same pat-down pregame introduction for games this season,
I don't watch our introductions, I'm not involved with them, I'm drawing up plays during that time," Oats said in his postgame news conference. "Regardless, it's not appropriate. It's been addressed and I can assure you it definitely will not happen again for the remainder of this year."

Superstitions and routines are a big part of sport.
Awareness and logic are often a big part of growing up. Considering it’s been something he’s been doing all year and considering he did nothing wrong in the incident, he likely didn’t realize the inappropriateness. Guaranteed he knows now.
To say he’s making light of the situation is another slanderous assumption of which there have been many in this thread.

I'm a fan. His game is very projectable imo.
He reminds me a bit of Jeremy Lamb

Superstitions in sport aren't more important than respect for the loss of human life. If he didn't know the inappropriateness, then he's extremely stupid. He can be unaware and illogical on another team, at their expense.
He's making light either intentionally or unintentionally, and neither look good on him as a person. Easy do not draft candidate for me.

Wish you guys could start a separate thread for the Brandon Miller saga. I’m trying to view draft prospect opinions and it’s hard to navigate through the rest of it

Yup, I brought him up not too long ago, I like his game, and he's climbing draft boards.
His jumper is so nice and quick, I think he would be great off the ball on our squad. I'd like to see us work him out, at the very least
Masai made the comment earlier this year that we need to add shooting, and so those are types of players I'm focusing on -- Especially since we traded for Jakob

The only way he can make light of the situation is by someone else’s opinion. You have no idea what is inside that young man’s thoughts or heart. All of your posts on Miller have been damning the guy without knowing the facts. Now that the facts are out there and it’s obvious you jumped to conclusions, you’re now damning the guy for a handshake. It must be quite the view in that ivory tower.

Cissoko climbed a ladder trying to block Grimes during the Jordan Rising Stars game. His vertical is impressive.

I worry about his percentages but the foundation is there. I don’t expect him to be Steph Curry, but if he can be Buddy Hield or maybe even someone like a Desmond Bane at his peak. That’s a great pick past 15.

I totally agree with that -- On our team we'd be asking him to much less, he wouldnt have free reign to shoot like that

JHS looks rock steady and in control against a very good opponent. Don't see him as bursty but he can rise up and shoot it and that left handed whip pass was eye opening. Could be someone we like at 15 range.
/edit Noticed he played for Thad Young's AAU team and also played at Montverde Academy like Scottie.
At age 19, great handle and 6'6 and a floor general seems like a lotto guy to me.

With Fred possibly out the door, and Banton/Flynn showing nothing, we need to replenish our guards. JHS will be on our list cuz he's a bigger guard and knows how to play. Shooting you hope to get their at a higher %. I like the mid range game and how he surveys the land. At 6'6' it helps.

He's still 18 until April! If they float up into the 20's I'd take him as an eventual SG/SF. He's got an A/T of 2 in the GLeague! He has a higher FG and 3pt % than Scoot!
Cissoko has better passing and defensive potential than JHS. Looks much stronger than say Rayan Rupert. Cissoko could be a smoother OG with better passing.
Cason, Jarace, Hendricks, Cissoko! Let's get one!
