Kevin Durant will dog-walk you with Maxi Kleber checking him. Hope for something else.

In fairness to Maxi, KD absolutely destroys majority of his matchups.

Nets Durant was pretty meh against the Mavs. Sure DFS is gone but they still have Guys like Kleber and Green…so…

And even with Durant, the last team Ayton, Paul and Booker wanna see is the Mavs…

Suns are being overrated at the moment...KD is great, but he's missed a lot of time with injuries past years...cp3 is washed, Booker is a beta(better hope Durant stays healthy)...the only reason the Suns would be the favorites is cause the Mavs have zero interior defense(their big man suck)

Suns are unpredictable with the lack of chemistry though so are the Mavs to some degree with Kyrie playing just a few more games with the Mavs. LOL at comments like 'Booker is extremely intimidated by Luka'. Just additional motivation for him. Mavs in trouble when Suns beta will give his best against your team. CP3 going MIA won't save you this time.

But Booker is easily intimidated though. Remember when he tried to step up to Jokic and then kept backing away once Jokic got into his face

Booker is a beta and is absolutely intimidated by Luka. Don’t blame me for that. We’ve all seen it.

Booker already looking for excuses...Said they aren't a super team cause KD the only all star

Well, he's technically right. Even if you consider Booker an all star(which he is) then Mavs have Kyrie. Wood's production matches Ayton's most of the time. I see a lot of Mavs fans say Green > CP3, so I guess that makes Mavs a super team too.

Not sure why you think so. Mavs lost scorers like Brunson and Dinwiddie and replaced them with Kyrie. Not much of an upgrade if you ask me. They lost DFS who hit 8/12 3s in one game and was great on D. And let's be honest, Suns owned Mavs before CP3 turned 37, which should not matter much now with KD on board as long as he's healthy. Luka scoring big in 1st game didn't mean much. This 'Booker is intimidated by Luka' narrative is simply stupidity coming from Mavs fans. Luka can't stop a motivated Booker in any way. You know he's not a very good defender. I would prefer Mavs than Clippers for sure.

Nah, but I know Mavs have holes in their roster...it's Just funny that everybody acts like Suns are now somehow this unbetable team...KD had a better team in Brooklyn and we all saw how that ended...I still take Bucks , Boston , Philly, Denver and a healthy Clippers over this Suns

As I said in a previous post Suns are unpredictable at this point. I believe in chemistry, so teams like Celtics, Bucks, Nuggets are favorites for me too. KD is yet to play a single game for us, so saying Suns are a super team is laughable.

It's tough building an NBA Winner in the midseason ,even if you do end up getting one of the Best Players to ever Play the game...chemistry matters and I think the Suns Will have a better shot next season when they add some Players(ring chasing ,cheap veterans)...the Mavs on the other hand Will have to decide if they will resign Kyrie, make a sign and trade or let him go...i don't know which option I'd prefer, there is no denying that Kai is a basketball savant,he's Just to unpredictable...besides if he doesn't want to resign the only sign&trades I'd be interested are with Suns(for Ayton, want no part of CP3) and Lakers for Davis(no Doo)...if Both teams would insist on CP3 and DLo I'd rather Just let him walk and concentrate on rebuilding in 24 and 25 offseason

CP3 is still effective but he’s got old legs and is not the same player he used to be. Green is young and athletic and a very good defender. Also I don’t see CP3 slowing down a fast break lead by Green or Kyrie.

Walked right into this one but a lot of that was because of Kyrie. Am actually on your side, just that you can't use the Net's failure to prop up a team with Kyrie.

Dubious trade when it was first announced but now its even more baffling. Like, forget the on court fit for a second, who in their right mind would take a gamble on Kyrie based on how it went down with him and ALL THREE of his previous employers????

And now on court....... are the Mavs really better after this trade? Dont think so

It was a bad trade teams really wanted DFS they were offering two 1st round picks for him... so he had high value the mavs could've got something better that actually fits their team.

I feel like Kyrie defers and turns down shots he shouldn’t. And Luka gets extremely turnover prone man, he had like at least 4 turnovers today that I thought were absolutely terrible.

This duo will get better in time but it’s not gonna be a perfect fit because neither player is necessarily a great off baller or off ball cutter etc.

Ugly loss to LA.

Much to work on, including for the coaches (some poor calls late IMO).

Good game by LA. They battled hard and got the dub.
Jokic 31/21/22
Luka & Oscar = 5 x 27/8/8
The Brodie = All-out energy
