They kind of remind me of the way LeBron and Wade started. It was "it's your turn" "it's my turn" over and over. It took time for them to figure it out, but they had time on their side. Kyrie might not even come back next season

Nah, but I know Mavs have holes in their roster...it's Just funny that everybody acts like Suns are now somehow this unbetable team...KD had a better team in Brooklyn and we all saw how that ended...I still take Bucks , Boston , Philly, Denver and a healthy Clippers over this Suns

Walked right into this one but a lot of that was because of Kyrie. Am actually on your side, just that you can't use the Net's failure to prop up a team with Kyrie.

Kyrie isn't much of a winning player except next to LeBron.

Mavs have frontcourt issues...Vanderbilt looked like an all star compared to Mavs Players...AD and LeBron were bullying everybody down low...the recipe for a win on the Mavs is pretty Simple,Just be physical and bully them inside cause their Players are soft like a cupcake...that's why i liked the addition of Morris...he's not the Player he was,but when he gets in shape he's good for some hard fouls,dirty plays

They’re basically the same player, don’t move much off ball, both like the ball in their hands.

Luka will tell management not to resign Kyrie. Or any quality guard.

Not being able to hold the ball for 95% of each possession is making his stats look pretty average.

I'm getting scared. Mavs went up by 27 against the Lakers today, made 14 more threes than the Lakers, and held the Lakers to 17% from 3.

:lol:

Luka for the season ----------> 33/8/8 on 50% FG taking 22.1 FGA (1.50 Pts/FGA)
Luka with Kyrie (5 games) --> 30/8/7 on 50% FG taking 20.0 FGA (1.51 Pts/FGA)

So, same Points Per Shot. Just a few less FGA/gm and 1 less assist per game. Basically the same guy.

Also, no one else Dallas has -- or has had since Luka got there -- could do this:

Read on Twitter

Luka isn't used to getting wide open looks like that.

Luka will be the first guy running to management telling them to re-sign Kyrie.

I think Kyrie needs to be more of a scorer early on in games instead of deferring.

Yeah maybe so.

They haven't figured things out yet.

Team is now 1-4 when both play after the home loss to Indy. All close losses. At least 2 games (SAC, LAL) with big blown leads.

The team is unbalanced after the trades. Even worse defense, less size, less rebounding. They're going to have to win shoot-outs.

It'll get fixed in the summer, but things could be shaky between now and then.

That said, things will get better from now. Kyrie is thinking about things way too much. That won't last forever.

And Kleber was amazing tonight. Getting him back is huge.

Why is Kidd starting Justin Holiday isntead of THJ, Green, Wood, or Maxi?

Team looked a lot better and the role players a lot more engaged when Luka was out and they were just playing with Kyrie. They looked like they were actually having fun out there. Maybe they need to bench Doncic.

Offense is not the problem... However, getting Kyrie means not improving (and even making it worse) the defense... The only hope for them is to meet the Suns in the first round and they will get their swag back.

Will se how they do in the play off, I am not optimistic. I think Dallas could have been more dangerous with Luka being one man army this season ,I don't think Irving is the right co star teammate for him but let see how they do the rest of the season.

I think the Mavs should try a lineup of Kyrie/Luka/Green/Wood/Kleber

This is 100% gonna be one of their main lineups. Atleast if Kidd realizes. Hopefully they get things figured out quickly so we get out of this play-in territory.

Luka, Kai,Green or Bullock(depending on matchup),Wood, McGee (replaced by Maxi who would also finish the games )

Maxi missed a lot of time...he's injury probe and you have to slowly introduce him back...and I think Maxi plays Best when it's 20-25 min a game...Just no more Powell please

Powell plays hard and finishes well under/above the rim, I don't know why people don't like him. Wood can work but his moving screen and TOs are going to need some series improvement

Yes he's playing hard,nobody denise that...but he lacks the skills..he finishes so so under the basket(very incosistent)..he's also a terrible rebounder and a very poor Rim protector
