What's going on with AG50 ?

Aaron Gordon has been out for several games for a rib contusion yet it seems like it's been lasting for more time than necessary. Mike Singer reports that the rib isn't broken/fractured, but he's missed the last 5 games, out since feb 11th. Now I've had rib injuries, but never fractured one. However, this seems like a long time for just a contusion, two weeks, some of which was over the ASG break, seems like a long time for this lingering outage.

I would guess its a bit of a lingering one. They can make breathing hard, which is probably going to make it hard for him to play at a high level. I would also guess they are giving him a little extra rest to get ready for the postseason. I doubt it's anything serious.

I am more concerned with Zeke. He seemed to be playing pretty well until this injury. I just wonder if he will ever be healthy enough to stay in the rotation and contribute to this team.

Well, Zeke wasn't likely to become part of the playoff rotation sans injury this year. AG50 on the other hand is an integral part of our championship pursuit. Also, getting Gordon back recycles Vlatko back to the bench, increases the chemistry with Jokic for our playoff run and brings back our 3rd of the big 4.

Rib bruise means that you get intense pain in the side where the rib extends from the spine. It hurts like hell with basketball contact but with time, it goes away, unless you continually pound that spot before it fully heals.

The Nuggets are notorious for keeping their fans in the dark about player injuries so, we can only guess how bad is his injury
