Over on the Warriors board we are fine with neither team getting the win.

Finch man
his fascination with Rivers and not calling timeouts when teams are on runs
He is not a good head coach.

Pretty much zero positive things to say about this team, if I am being honest.

If we miss the playoffs I will comfortably say this is the worst season in franchise history. We are in an inexcusably bad position if that comes to pass.

i think the most likely outcome will be a play-in loss where Gobert is useless and the Wolves have to go small ball to make a run that comes up just short

I hate to say it but the season's over. Even if the team clicks when KAT comes back, it will be too late.
With no KAT and D'Lo gone, we don't have enough offense.

Finch is just the wrong head coach for him. I feel he would be better under a different coach. Ant was **** today for sure.

We were still very much In the hunt before this skid. 3 losses like this now are extremely detrimental. Our percentages have dropped significantly. Every team around us got better, teams are going to start stringing together wins. This is take off time and are sputtering.

In football terms, Finch is an offensive coordinator. Head coaching is beyond his abilities. No shame in that. He’ll land somewhere else and give whatever team picks him up a good offensive boost. But his seat has to almost on fire at this point.

welp, just saw that 12 of last 19 games are on the road, and 3rd strongest strength of schedule remaining
honestly could see finishing 13th behind OKC

Late game offense has been a problem... that's one area where we badly miss DLo. Ant also has to take care of the ball better...too many turnovers

It's rough out there right now, ladies and gents.
I mean these last few games (losses that are largely a direct result of the absence of D-Lo's hot 2023 shooting) may be the roughest stretch in the history of the franchise, given that in prior years we could always somewhat relax into the idea of upcoming lottery picks.

Pathetic. We are really pathetic.

Even if we made it to the PO and were eliminated in the first round I would consider it a failed season, I dont even know what to call this. Maybe some experts around here will humble themselfs abit going forward

Re: Game 63: Minnesota @ Golden State
In reality, if Karl-Anthony Towns' calf doesn't implode, Minnesota likely wins at least three more games this season, which would amount to Minnesota being the fourth seed (honestly, a healthy Taurean Prince likely allows for that). If Towns doesn't go down, I think it is relatively likely that Minnesota would be in contention for the second seed right now (6-7 more wins).
That said, even with that information, it doesn't make the season feel any less miserable.

Second seed? Not sure if I watched the same Gobert-KAT pairing as you did...

Truthfully, not sure what you watched, given that Minnesota's early problems stemmed from Minnesota's guardplay being absolutely dreadful, to start the season. The Rudy Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns combination was relatively fine.
But again, let's pretend that Minnesota wins only four more games if their best player was not injured. That's it, nothing more because the fit is janky, or whatever issues arise.
That would put them 1.5 games back from the third seed and 3 games back from the second seed.
