I think people are discounting how new this team is and how tough it is to gel. 4 new starters mid season is basically unheard of. It feels like we're in preseason sometimes with the mistakes.
2 things. Sumner/Yuta need to take Seth/Harris spots in the rotation immediately. There's almost no point in having a defensive identity if you throw out 2 absolute zeros on defense. And both just aren't playing well enough to justify PT. And Sumner fills a need. He's an actual PG and he can actually drive to the rim.
I thought this was a good game but something about the team spirit feels off. Everyone's energy seems down. Even JV. Claxton isn't screaming after dunks and hyping the team up. The bench is super low energy. Idk it's a little disappointing.

There is no leader on the team what do you expect?

Sumner & Yuta SHOULD play over Seth & Harris.
Sumner's length, penetration skills and D would come in handy while giving Spencer a break. We may lose Seth's shooting, but gets compensated with other things.
Yuta has to play. He may not be the most talented, but he plays with a lot of heart, a deadshot in the corner 3 and can defend adequately. Joe is a lost cause. He's a target for offenses, and while he's coming along with his 3 pt percentages, he immediately trades it by allowing his man to score over him.
9 man rotation should be:
Bridges
CJ
Clax
Spencer
DSR
Cam
Royce
Sumner
Yuta

I expect a team full of guys with something to prove to be excited about the opportunity to have more responsibility.
You're right though. We lost our two leaders and one of our locker room leaders in Morris. Maybe it'll take time for someone to step up as leader.

Kyrie deflected and didn't want to take the shot at one point, and of course he choked that final shot. Kidd was frustrated and called the team out. The Suns best chance to win is now but I don't think they will get it done and I am expecting KD to be upset again next year and not satisfied; it will be nice to see these other teams experience what we did. Nuggets, Clippers and dare I say the Lakers are all better teams IMO. As much as I dislike the Lakers, I will cheer them over the Mavs and Suns.

I can’t root against PHX , their fans was a class act after the trade , but I can’t root for KD either , I’ll stay neutral
Philly and Dallas I’ll root against every time though

Also we should get to grips that Spencer it’s 6 th man at best , not our hero ball guy , he shouldn’t start , he stops our ball movement a lot on offense , and on defense he doesn’t even try 90% of the time

Yeah the irony is Kyrie would have far better odds if he just stayed here.
On the Nets he had the legitimate chance to contend for a title. And if he had a drama free season the rest of the way he probably gets a max contract from either the Nets or Lakers.
Now he won't get it for sure.
