I'm honestly surprised this place is still as active as it is(forums are rarely a thing anymore), thought most people would have moved to reddit.

We used to have to use sources to back up claims, but those days are dead and gone. In 2010 certain mods went on a tear banning anyone arguing Lebron wouldnt come here, dunno how I survived that.

Cocainehellofadrug dude still here with a new name or is he another who walked away?
There's something about an underdog that really inspires the unexceptional.

That's right around when I started posting here. Was banned two or three times. Different names I hardly remember. Over like a two year period. I was another board that had much less traffic at the time and was not a troll site at all. Here it was a mad house back then. Different color scheme too.

The current board leadership should amnesty all banned members of the last 10-15 years. Well, most of them anyway. We need some fun lively discussions.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Is that poster who liked Asian women still on here(pretty active/big name if I remember)? I enjoyed his threads about his adventures at the local Chinese takeout and the cashier

Good idea you can bring back your 10 usernames and talk to yourself.

Until you reveal who you are nobody cares what you have to say.

Real story GKF won some type of fan contest in 2010 and got to hangout with Clyde and it was televised and he was still miserable.

I believe he said he was going to drown FrozenEnvelope in a urinal. Not entirely sure.

I think you're thinking of Sportstalk (might have been sportstalk.net - I don't remember), but Sportstalk covered the Kong rumors and trades. Maybe there was another site as well, but a lot of the early posters at RGM posted at Sportstalk first.

RGM and Sportstalk were unrelated. They just catered to the same crowd of internet surfers.
Go Knicks!! Go Mets!!

As for the Jets . . . just keep it entertaining.

I think you are correct. Vividly remember seeing 'KING KONG TRADE' in big bold blue lettering and angrily going to the ESPN boards to vent. The majority of fans wanted to trade Ewing for Rice and Baker and then trade Houston and Camby for Mutombo.

But I go way back to the NY Times boards in like 94 or 95.
