You would really trade JB for KD? Your window is 3-4x longer with Tatum+JB than it is with KD

Would you trade Bam for KD?

No way. I'd only trade Bam for another elite center. KD is a 3/4. Gaping hole at center if we trade Bam for KD.

Lowry or Herro/Vincent
Jimmy/Oladipo
KD/Caleb/Strus
Love/Highsmith
Zeller/Yurt/Orlando (or Nerlens now that he's been released)

Tonight's result gives credence to the notion that our three-point shooting is actually more important than Bam and Herro's offensive production.

Keep spamming and hitting those threes and you will go far! Never forget it!!

I am not a fan of Herro at all but the kid is still young as hell. One thing is for sure while he may become more savvy and better scorer efficiency wise he has the tools. He will never be a defender, he lacks the physical attributes for this, he will also not be a premier slasher anytime soon either, he can take advantage on certain matchups but the league has defensive long wings available for days. It will be tough for him.

I think that same lack of physical attributes will also eventually hold him back offensively. He’s not bigger and faster than most, can’t blow by anyone and doesn’t have an elite handle like a Kyrie Dame or Steph to get wherever he wants whenever he wants. He’s still young like you said but I’d like to see noticeable improvement from him every season, this year I’m not seeing that unfortunately. Still time and hopefully still the playoffs to change that.

There’s a massive difference between you and Westbrook, Dame lol. Westbrook is very reliant on athleticism and being surrounded by shooters and very high usage. You’re a seamless fit wherever you go and a top 3 shooter ever

Only way we can acquire a guy like Lillard is if Herro can up his game and be a consistent 23ppg+ scorer night in and night out. We need Tyler to up his trade value lol.

Maybe now that we have size we can play Duncan Donuts.

Convinced that Max Strus will get poached in offseason, we will trade Lowry, retain Gabe and Dipo and give Duncan the minutes that were going to Strus, so that he can maybe actually provide value or regain even the smallest amount of value so that we can trade him at the deadline.

Duncan won't see minutes this season unless it's a blowout win or loss. Now that we have Love and some added depth and players are healthy, there's no reason for him to see the court.

Play the nets twice, play the Cavs twice, play the Knicks 3 times. The only 3 teams ahead of us we have a chance of passing up with the Cavs possibility getting less and less likely with every embarrassing loss.

We control our own destiny

We aren’t cutting Haslem.

The only real option I see is Highsmith. And Highsmith is probably more valuable at this point. I’d say we are not going to be involved in Dragic situation.

Back to back games vs the Cavs will be a tough one.

Glad at least we gained more size with Zeller and Love for that matchup
