Veteran way seems to be the plan. Besides, Bullock, and Holiday defend & shoot the three. Green has the second half of the season to make a statement. I won't be surprised if Green starts in the playoffs.

Tech on Luka, maybe his 1st justified tech this season, you can't breath on the Pacers while Mavs are getting mauled on each drive

How many points did Powell allow in the paint in those 8 minutes? Feels like all of them. Maxi completely changed the flow of the game when he got in. But i fear he's still on minutes restriction.

Also huge difference when teams double Doncic they usually do that off Powell's defender, if Maxi or Wood are in the game, they can't do that. Obviously Kidd puts Powell on Turner and Mavs get abused on both ends. It's such a simple concept by Rick and apparently too much to handle for Kidd.

Would also probably be better if Powell is dropped completely out of rotation and they go with McGee in those short minutes. At least he's tall and can finish around the rim.

Will be interesting to see if there are any adjustments in the 2nd half regarding Turner PnR actions with Mavs centers.

You know how bad the situation is when they are so excited about a role player coming back

You and arkuo keep saying that Doncic is the main problem not the rest of the team? I'm confused now.

Are seriously going to claim that the team doesnt play infinitely better when Luka is off the floor since Kyrie arrived?
Never mind the eye test, look at the numbers. So how is it that the same players that play bad with him play much better when they play with Kyrie? Are they playing bad with Luka on purpose to make him look bad? I would love to hear your explanation about what has been going on recently.

How about a Kleber-Wood-Green-Irving-Doncic lineup?

Let’s see it, coach!

Dude, Kyrie had some crazy games at the start, he came back to earth a bit and Mavs continue to struggle with the same BS they already struggled 2 seasons ago, has nothing to do with Doncic. Are you even watching this game?
Also, Kyrie mostly played vs opposing benches with one of the best lineup combinations Kidd could come up with. Luka has Powell, Bullock and now Holiday with him on the floor. Kidd is the coach, he has to figure it out.

I know Haliburton was an AS, but his jumper is ugly AF and he makes some crazy finishes at the rim.

Last 3,5 games. Dallas with Luka on the floor at -20. With Kyrie +24. You can make all the excuses you want for Luka but those are the facts. He has been bad, especially on defense where he doesnt even want to try. I was laughing before the season when I saw he has the best odds to win MVP. I will make bank betting on Jokic 8-)

And stop being so emotional. I am just stating facts that everyone can see except you.

I'm not making any excuses, i even said Luka should take the blame for the 2nd half collaps vs Lakers. I am arguing that Kidd is completely clueless and doesn't know how to run offense to save his life. On top of that, he's making poor lineup changes and defensive rotations are non existant. If you want to blame entire season on Luka, then go ahead but that's absolutely ridiculous.

Emotional?

Who is everyone? It's you and Arkuo. Go read Mavs reddit and you'll be in complete shock because rest of the Mavs fanbase don't agree with you.

Oh, I must be wrong then if Reddit doesnt agree with me

The fact remains the players that play bad with Luka play much better with Kyrie. Maybe you should hang out on Reddit a little less often if you cant see that. They are obviously affecting your opinion.

Pretty much everyone agrees that this is the real issue and not Kyrie/Luka offense. But you go ahead and keep repeating the same thing you're saying since 2018. It's not like Mavs already made WCF with worse team than this one.

I’m a little behind, but the Haliburton drive after the big Turner block on Luka was a 4 on 5 situation.

Reggie gave up the left driving lane so easy. Wood didn’t even move off Nembhard like he’s some Steph Curry threat.

THJ just floating around.

Terrible transition defense.
