I both get anxious that we test his patience so much and love that he's so passionate.

2ND Q: SPURS 50 JAZZ 48

After going 2-3 from 3 in the 1ST Q we go 2-9 in the 2ND. Not how we want it, but I do like that we are finding other ways to both score and get stops.

YES Keldon has gone left on some drives. And made quick outlet passes again. And made extra passes again. AND he's been rotating and switching and covering drives really well.

We lost our lead on a 10-0 run but got it back after some Pop timeouts and us regrouping well.

We are tending to get stuck on the strong side and not moving the ball enough to the weak one when we do. We also didn't have good spacing on our fast breaks. Not making the most of our chances on fast breaks, and FTs (STILL at 4-8 meaning we did not get ANY chances in this Q) but already have 11-19FTs against is not the recipe we want.

We also have a 50-37FGA advantage, so considering we have had 13 extra points, that it's only a 2-point game is something to keep an eye on in terms of making the most of our chances.

We have given up some shots in favour of extra passes that I'm not convinced were of the good to great variety, more like good to great to not as good with less time and more pressure to make it. And after at least two shot clock violations, and with some late clock heaves, Pop finally blew a gasket to end the half after we made a shot but after the buzzer.

After leading us in scoring last game, Sochan is 0-3 with 3 fouls. He sat most of the 2ND, playing only 3 minutes. Just not as clean a game in terms of court vision and decisions. He's the only scoreless Spur but considering only KJ, Doug, and Blake are scoring efficiently, it's a wonder we're ahead.

It's thanks to our D, busy hands, and hustle we're in it.
